How does the Guardian find such awful ghouls to employ – Bethan McKernan in Israel

The tweet below defies belief. Yesterday afternoon reports started to emerge of the beheadings of babies in a Kibbutz in Israel by the savages of Hamas. I call folks who behead babies savages, the BBC and the Guardian do not. I am willing to be judged by St Peter for my words. They don’t believe in St Peter and think that anyone who does is an ignorant old timer so they don’t really care about that. For a while the left argued that these claims about baby beheadings were unproven.

I was screeched at on twitter for citing the Jewish Chronicle as a source as, according to a stack of Jew haters, the Chron is “biased”. But it now seems universally acknowledged that at least some of the 40 babies murdered were in fact beheaded. The rest were just shot, burned alive or had their throats cut.

What horrifies me in a way that is off the scale is that anyone could kill babies in this systematic way just because they were Jews. The last folks who killed babies like this because they were Jews were the Nazis who wanted to stop them growing up to breed more Jews. I used to think that when we all said “Never Again” we meant never again and so could not countenance such evil.

But now round at the Guardian, its Jerusalem correspondent says she really is horrified by this incident. Not by babies being beheaded or killed in other barbaric ways, but by the fact that some papers reported that all the babies murdered were beheaded.  That horrifies Beth. What horrifies the rest of us is that 40 babies should be slaughtered whether 1 or 40 were beheaded is irrelevant, it is the slaughter itself that is horrific.

As it happens there are now stacks of eye witnesses who have seen beheaded babies. How many would see Bethan less horrified: 1, 5, 15, 25, 39 or 40?

I have no idea how the Guardian manages to pick such appalling ghouls to fill its pages with material. Anyone reading a paper employing Bethan, helping to pay her wages should be hanging their head in shame.
