Avaaz says 9,000 folks have died in Israel and Hamaz since October 7. Even the BBC agrees with 1400 dead Jews on October 7 so we can take that as gospel but what about dead Palestinians in Gaza? Those numbers come from Hamas, a terrorist organisation that has also claimed that it attacked only military targets on October 7 (au contraire), that Israel bombed the Al-Ahli hospital killing 500 ( 30 were killed in the hospital car park by a stray Islamic Jihad missile), etc, etc. Taking numbers from Hamas as gospel is extraordinarily naive.
But Avaaz wants a ceasefire and free access of all goods into Gaza saying that this will end the deaths. No it will not. It will mean that Hamas which conducted the worst one day slaughter of Jews since 1945 will realise that thanks to useful idiots in the West it can go unpunished and will remain intact and will be able to re-arm and carry on killing Jews. But maybe to the grifters at Avaaz Jews don’t matter, just folks in Gaza or Peru?
