As we all know Call Me Dave is keen on appealing to core Conservatives voters. Hence welfare spending is up, the deficit is out of control, we have no vote on the EU, gay marriage is a core issue, etc. But at least we know one thing. The Conservatives are the party of law & order. In Call Me Dave’s Britain we are tough on crime and tough on the causes of crime. Not trivial issues but the sorts of crime that really has us all worried.

As such I bring you a picture this week of one hardened villain caught red handed with the weapon of intent. If you are at this stage lost read more here.

Tough cheese there is no prize for the wittiest caption for the picture below just glory.

For what it’s worth my entry is:

"Christopher Booker writes…what people fail to appreciate is that the real reason is EU regulation 2736/b……"

Okay that is an in family joke which only my father will appreciate. I am sure that you can do better. Post your entries in the comments box below.

Last week I asked you for captions to this picture.

I am afraid that the standard of entries was dire. It is Gamma Minuses all round. Or as they say today “straight A*s.”

I felt sure that Jon Pickles could get Prince Harry into it somehow. Better luck this week.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: As Boris gets Coronavirus the Doomsayers cannot have it both ways

Natch I wish the Prime Minister a speedy recovery from Covid 19. I am sure that like almost all healthy victims he will recover and refer you to my two podcasts HERE and HERE as to why the Doomsayers are engaing in GroupThink but really cannot have it both ways: the virus cannot be both highly contagious and highly lethal. I discuss why the three day shares rally, now reversed today, cannot be justified in terms of the likely curve of corporate earnings recovery. I look at Next (NXT), Optibiotix (OPTI) and dual listings, Dev Clever (DEV) & Royal Mail Group (RMG)
