New Contract with ADVFN – I am NOT t1ps.com’s Paul Ince

A personal note follows at the end. West Ham supporters will understand the reference to Paul Ince, a man who is – unfairly in my view – known by Lucian and his pals as Judas. I digress. I have today signed two contracts with the UK’s largest website ADVFN. This does not mean that my relationship with t1ps.com changes.

The first is the book deal I referred to a while back. Somewhere the contract was mislaid and so I resigned it again today. By August 31st I am contracted to deliver my copy for an e-book ADVFN wishes to publish on why gold is heading through the roof and how to profit from it. That is my summer project.

The second is to start writing a blog for ADVFN. I should start posting my first content this weekend. This may seem the Paul Ince act. Well it is not. My contract comes with the blessing of those running t1ps. I will not be covering small cap t1ps and doing CEO videos etc for ADVFN. The premium site where I focus such energies will – as long as I am comfortable with the management, its commitment to free speech etc – always be t1ps.com. I have a firm writers contract with t1ps and a promise of a far better one if certain changes happen.

So ADVFN is an outlet for some of my macro burbles, thoughts on the US market etc which do not fit easily with t1ps.com. TomWinnifrith.com will carry my content from ADVFN, ShareCrazy, The Christian Science Monitor as well as my own non financial burbling on Debbie Harry, West Ham, the Evil Empire, Greece, Vlachs, Lesbians, the Argies, Global warming, the only true democracy in the Middle East, etc, etc. For small cap share tips etc you should, as always, go to www.t1ps.com – where I believe that some major improvements are planned.

From a personal perspective I now have almost all my ducks in a row for a career as a full time writer, organiser of Master Investor and video presenter. Writing is what I want to do and enjoy doing most of all. My keyboard is humming and I am happily writing with a freedom and enjoyment I have not had for many years. Pro tem I plan to take a break from England to a place that is hotter and even more bankrupt in order to purge my mind fully of Rivington matters and to purge my body fully of nicotine. In the middle of nowhere, but online, I aim to complete the book before I return, relaxed, 21 llbs lighter and lightly tanned. Blogging will continue as normal but the phone will be switched off at Gatwick airport and will stay switched off for well over a month.
