The media demonization of Israel pours petrol on the flames of the burning fires of anti-semitism in Britain today. Against this backdrop the media is disgracing itself with its reports of what is happening in Syria. The BBC and Telegraph pinned tweets are our starting place:

What is actually happening is that the new regime in Syria, born out of Al Qaeda and which gets plenty of UK taxpayer cash, is sending its troops into Druze villages near the border with Israel. There are now confirmed reports of industrial scale rapes of Druze women and of more than 250 civilian executions within the past 24 hours. These are not sectarian clashes, this really is ethnic cleansing of the type the Alawite minority has already suffered. This is the start of genocide.
But since folks like Jeremy Corbyn or the BBC’s Jeremy Bowen cannot blame the Jews there seems no outcry, no sign of the UN acting to stop a regime, that will be receiving 160 million quid of UK taxpayer cash, from committing war crimes. Where is David Lammy threatening to stop that cash unless the rapes and murders stop?
The operation to murder the Druze is being spearheaded from the defence ministry in Damascus so Israel has bombed it.
There is a sizeable Druze community in Israel, the only country n the Middle East to give this peculiar, sort of but no really Muslim, sect full equal rights. Israeli Druze serve in its army and sit in the Knesset. And so Israel has an added reason to do whatever it takes to stop a genocidal regime your taxes back in Airstrip One are funding from wiping out another ethnic minority. You have to be really driven by hatred of Israel not to accept that in this case it really is the good guy.
Yet read the BBC and Telegraph headlines and you see no praise for Israel acting in a wholly honourable way, instead the insinuation is that the wicked Jews are again bombing a foreign country just because they are wicked Jews.
I feel ever more ashamed to be British. Our country is becoming a sewer of antisemitism where the truth no longer matters.
