Yesterday I penned a piece about the win win for America as Trump’s tariffs secured a $50 billion investment from AstraZeneca as it scaled back investment here in Rachel Reeves’ UK. I noted how this would cause a gnashing of teeth for those with #TrumpDerangementSyndrome including my friend the City PR legend and the undefeated winner of the title Champagne socialist of the Year from its launch back in 2001. The quote was about Uncle Chris who, like me, was right about so many things: the global warming hoax, the evils of the EU, the evils of the UK family courts, mad cow disease and so much else. It is an honour to be compared to him even if he was wrong on one major and topical, issue, the matter of Israel. I am glad we do not have to dodge a row on that matter any more.
