Imagine the scene. The NHS cocks up your kid's operation and you get vast compensation which you use to buy a luxury shag pad for you and your new partner hundreds of miles away from your, now, handicapped kid. You fill in the forms incorrectly and dodge forty grand of tax on the purchase. But someone dobs you into the HMRC and it starts to investigate. Feck! there is a big job opening up you want to put in for and this is still hanging around your neck.
