The blood libel pushed by so much of the media and political class is that the wicked Jews in Israel are committing genocide against the Palestinians partly by military means and party by starvation. How many reports on the BBC have you seen about the poor starving Gazans?
Before the folks poured out of Gaza to commit the world one day slaughter of Jews since 1945 you can see that the percentage of folks in what is termed Palestine (Gaza and the West Bank) who were obese, that is to say had a BMI of more than 25 was 63.7%.
By the end of 2024 after 15 months of post October 7 genociding the percentage of Palestinians who were obese was 63.9%. The number had gone up!
Of course facts do not matter to those driven by hatred of the Jews, those who delight as they spew blood libels They quite literally compare conditions in Gaza – where the population is now unchanged on pre October 7 days – to the holocaust when 2/3 of European Jews were killed. And do you remember all those chubby folks who survived Auschwitz or Belsen? Me neither.
