Last Thursday evening I revealed in a bit of a scoop that Audioboom (BOOM) was trying to raise £8 million at 2.5p. On a post approved by ShareSoc on its blog, Roger Lawson has today commented on the incident I described in bearcast on Monday - the email I received in response to my fraudbusting work. I have made Lawson aware of the content of that email currently with the Police so something I cannot publish - but it is the most disgusting material about my wife of Indian origin. I hope that you had a great day yesterday at Uk Investor Show. I certainly had fun although I should confess to having a bit of a sore head today. Before we go on, I take my hat off to Audioboom PLC for showing an incredibly sense of humour. We had a bit of a spat a few months ago. They thought I was a bad Bear. I thought they should apologise and send over a large bag of coke to say sorry. And so Audioboom pitched up at the show with a present for me as you can see below.

Just a short podcast from me on the bruising events of last week with Audioboom (BOOM) - how it reacted, how any company facing hostile comment should react and why it all really does not matter in the end if Audioboom delivers operationally. Still no coke and hookers received from Audioboom as an apology but I wish them all the best of luck in 2015 anyway. I am such a nice guy.

You will note that the by-line on this article is mine. Just as it was on yesterday’s where I then reprinted the words of my pal Waz Shakoor. Presumably all the bears of Audioboom (BOOM) will now go attacking me too. What follows is actually a response from Audioboom CEO Rob Proctor. It is a response I asked him to pen.
I would advise my “friends” at Audioboom that penning a sensible rebuttal of an article you disagree with is how grown up companies operate. Having the CEO slag off someone who did not even write the offending words (i.e. me) by email and the COO attack my professionalism on twitter is imbecilic. It is not even playing the man not the ball, it is Cantona kicking a bloke in the crowd.
