Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - a hot tip from Brokerman Dan

In this podcast I thinkI agree with Dan's tip. I then look at Independent Oil & Gas in light of Jim Armitage's article in the Evening Standard which takes this scandal forward some more. I cover ramp dog Chesterfield (CHF), Marks & Spencer (MKS), Gear4Music (G4M), Halfords (HFD), Starcom (STAR), UK Oil & Gas (UKOG), Angus Energy (ANGS) and the zero scenario, and Carclo (CAR). Tomorrow I may have better things to do than a bearcast as is the case every January 12. Or maybe not!

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - Perhaps on IQE I was right and Paul Scott wrong?

Sorry this podcast is a bit brief as I am ill.  In it I look at IQE (IQE) where I wonder if my bearishness has trumped the bullishness of Paul Scott. I look at Starcom (STAR), Tern (TERN) and Cloudbuy (CBUY)

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Starcom is the bullshitter of the day and Altona the ramp du jour

I start with Starcom (STAR) whose statement as it announces a placing is pure unadulterated bullshit. Do the crony capitalists who put this shite out take us all for morons? Then it is onto Altitude (ALT) whose shares are up by 19% today valuing the company at £32 million. Maybe I am thick ( don't comment on that!) but I just cannot get my head around that valuation and explain why. Finally onto Altona Energy (ANR) and related ramp Uru Metals (URU). This is the latest POS to get the full ramp treatment and I explain why its share price is absurd.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Jumping Fleas, Falanx & trying to be objective about PCGE

I start with a look at the weekend's events in what could be, and should be, the Catalan Republic. It shows our political leaders, but especially those in the EU, in the worst possible light. If the Catalans do go it alone it has massive implications for the Euro which I discuss. Then it is on to PCG Entertainment (PCGE) where I declare an interest but try to be objective in a detailed analysis. There is a similar biopsy but it could soon be an autopsy on Starcom (STAR). I also cover Falanx (FLX) "the flea jumping" - a stock we own - and comment on Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO). I have remembered what I forgot at the end and will cover it tomorrow.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - Terror attack on London Edition

Clearly this is the story of the day. I reflect on this from various angles. I then move onto Franchise Brands (FRAN) shares in which surged 16% forcing a suspension. No insider dealing here guv, walk on, walk on. Then it is onto Bowleven (BLVN),  Yolo (YOLO), Starcom (STAR) which I may have called Starvest but I meant Starcom, Van Elle (VANL), Nyota (NYO) and finally the uber dog Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO) which is in freefall. Hah! Death spiral shylocks Bracknor your spoof is not working is it! On the subject of terror I mention that evil bastard Martin McGuinness. You should not speak ill of the dead but for this unapologetic murderer  and for those in the media who praise him as a good man I make an exception HERE.  Mr McGuinness was a wicked man who sought no salvation in apology and repentance and, if there is a hell, his soul is right now burning at the heart of it.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - who and when should you sue over the Cloudtag fraud? Also Andalas deathwatch ahoy!

I start and end with Cloudtag (CTAG) - so far today no news which I take to mean it is bad news and explain why. At the end I discus who disgruntled and out of pocket punters should sue over this fraud and when. In the middle of the Cloudtag fraud sandwich I look at Andalas Energy (ADL) which really is fucked whatever it says. I reckon Justin the Clown will have to sell the cardboard box and sleep in the open air before long. I also look at Starcom (STAR), Servision (SEV) - which is a major scandal in the making - Union Jack Oil (UJO) and Milestone Group (MSG) which remains non investment grade crap as CEO Deborah White should be wearing an orange jump suit and doing a perp walk.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Buffett themes on bad companies, CMC, TrakM8 and the stinker that is Starcom

In this podcast I refer to an article I penned today on the greedy bastards that are the junior doctors HERE. My central theme is various ways that Warren Buffett would define companies as "bad" and in that vein I look at CMC Markets (CMC), TrakM8 (TRAK) and in some detail the uber ramped dog with fleas that is Starcom (STAR) which I covered a month ago -gosh my analysis is good (as you can see here).

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Cloudtag, Starcom, Sunrise - Morons, like cockroaches, are everywhere & have few brain cells

Thanks firstly to those kind folks who showed some appreciation for the introduction to yesterday's bearcast - praise is always welcome. I am still in a bad mood so watch out for some choice French as I discuss Cloudtag (CTAG), Starcom (STAR), ECR Minerals (ECR), Kibo Mining (KIBO), Conroy (CGNR), Iofina (IOF) - in detail - and Sunrise Resources (SRES) and its broker Belfort Securities. Watch out it is placing ahoy at Sunrise as I explain in detail. Just do the math!

Starcom - le AIM ramp de jour but valuation crackers

Those lucky folks who got in on the most recent bailout placing for AIM dog Starcom (STAR ) in March at 1.5p have done brilliantly. The shares now trade at 4p mid and this is now le ramp de jour for certain morons on twitter and the bulletin boards. But the valuation is surely insane at £5.4 million given the ongoing losses, painful lack of tangible asset backing and the inevitability that another placing is imminent.

Starcom makes interactive padlocks and places some store on the latest release of its flagship product Watchlock (Pro version). But

Starcom - keep the lights on placing at no-one is watching O'Clock - how predictable

The boy Moore is actually on holiday while I am at my keyboard so I shall do the crowing for him as his words of warning on uber-dog Starcom (STAR) came good with a keep the lights on placing at no-one is watching O'Clock (3.54 PM) the day before the Easter break.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast 11 March - 2 sizzling rumours, very bad language and a favour asked

The sizzling rumours - MX Oil (MXO) and Moneyswap (SWAP). I start and finish with a favour to all of my younger or more IT minded listeners. If you can please action that today it would be fab, Then I move on to look at Gulfsands Petroleum (GPX), Nighthawk (HAWK), Stanley Gibbons SGI), Starcom (STAR) and, in some detail, Cambian (CMBN) - where I do hope you heeded my warning 141 days ago HERE.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - 8 April: Defending NonDoms and more

I start by defending NonDoms. Do not get me wrong the owner of Chelsea FC is not my fave guy but the politics of envy is self defeating. Then to stocks - I start with the China Norfolks and then it is onto Coms, blinkx, Trinity Exploration, the BG/Shell deal and what it means for smaller oil stocks and Starcom.

PS My ticket for UK Investor Show arrived today. I hope yours have too - if not email [email protected] to find out why and chase.
