Perhaps Vela’s new PR man, “Greenie” might want to explain his boss’s CV omission

Sub scale technology investment waste of space company Vela (VELA) has today announced that it has hired a new PR and IR firm Novum to ramp its shares. Novum, aka my old pal Alan Green, I have a question for you about the gap in the website CV of your boss Brent Fitzpatrick, the one linking him to a convicted fraudster and jailbird.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - 3 horrors from Joshua's school that will make you despair

I start with the three horrors  which will make you despair and that is even before we deal with another INSET day, a day of yakking for teachers and inconvenience for the working prime carer who is your host today. Then I look at impending lockdown lunacy  and at one company which, i suspect, is already struggling but which will be hit for six, NightCap (NGHT). I skip onto Bezant (BZT) another Colin Bird pump and place, Dev Clever (DEV) – a stock for financial masochists only – Ben’s Creek (BEN) with a new shocking expose of its link with a disgraced financier and then the Woodfordesque dealings involving Boanerges Ltd (BNRG), WeShop, Vela (VELA) and BrandShield (BRSD). For the avoidance of doubt the maths on Boanerges are:

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Vela is today's Covid ramp but as a supposed beneficiary I say it is all bollocks

I speak as a type 2 diabetes sufferer, today’s Covid ramp from Vela (VELA) is total bollocks. I also cover stinky share dumping by the Trainline (TRN) bird, Petra Diamonds (PDL), where I am vindicated again but not holding my breath for BBMs to apologise, Wishbone Gold (WSBN), Panthera Resources (PAT) and POS Mosman Oil & Gas (MSMN) – now in the Minus 99% club. Time for boardroom bonuses all round I reckon, as it places again.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: More sleaze at cash strapped Versarien & a clever arb for morons who like SYME

I am in Shipston with my father and start by discussing how I deal with phone calls here. I look at another crazy Covid story then at Versarien (VRS), Amigo (AMGO), Vela (VELA), Falanx (FLX), Cineworld (CINE) and at a clever arb for fools like Zak Mir who believe in Supply@ME Capital (SYME), that leading enterprise from the province of Norfolk.

Version 2: Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: It seems I am being reported to the Police again

I apologise for the sound quality; I have rerecorded and V2 is far better. I am shitting myself… not! In today’s bearcast, I reveal why evil short-sellers (well Lucian, anyway) want Donald Trump to lose and then look at Red Rock Resources (RRR), Vela (VELA), Iconic (ICON), and Verditek (VDTK) which is where the old Bill come in. Or rather don’t.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Maybe I was wrong (it happens now and again) on AEX Gold

I start with a London millionaire slating me for being an Alt Right billionaire. I am neither but our in-house Euro loon Jonathan Price is a peculiar fellow. I look at the madness at Vela (VELA), at Future (FUTR) and its trading statement (a win so far for Mark Slater vs Matt Earl), at what Verditek (VDTK) did NOT say, and at AEX Gold (AEXG) where the CEO is 13, or at least looks it, but I may have been a bit harsh before.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Yes the housebuilders have been screwing purchasers

I have mentioned the sale of leasehold properties by housebuilders such as Barratt Developments (BDEV) before and regard their actions as utterly wrong. I am an ethical capitalist, they are profiteering. So I welcome the news that the Competition & Markets Authority is now investigating. It is not why I would not own shares in this sector but it is good news anyway. I also cover Kefi (KEFI), Vela (VELA) and the scoundrels at con Supply@ME Capital (SYME), its latest “news” and past lies.

FREE Podcast: ShareProphets Radio Edition NINE with Tom Winnifrith starring Carson Block of Muddy Waters

In this ninth edition of the ShareProphets Radio podcast, sponsored by Yorkville Advisors, in order I  chat to Antony Laiker,a friend despite being my stockbroker, a dinosaur like myself and the boss of AIM listed Vela (VELA). You may need to turn up the violume on his ansswers. Then it is onto Carson Block of Muddy Waters discussing Burford (BUR) and much else in great detail. Carson does not pull his punches and, to my mind, explains convincingly why his latest target will crater. If you like this and can’t wait seven days for more of the same you should listen to my Bearcast every day.

There are dramatic events today at the Greek Hovel. More on that elsewhere and later. And also at share options in general and why I oppose them in all cases.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Three reasons to be fecking angry today

Number one is Amazon (again). Number two is Barclays Bank (BARC) again! And the third is explained HERE. Elswhere I explain what it means when I am made an insider and how I have to behave. I look at the bitcoin bloodbath and in that vein at Argo Blockchain (ARGO), Vela (VELA) and the Clem'Chambers spoof Online Blockchain (OBC). I cover Falanx (FLX), Photonstar Led (PSL) and AO World (AO).

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - Malcolm Stacey you are stark raving mad

In today's bearcast I look at Vela (VELA), Debenhams (DEB), Nakama (NAK) and why Malcolm Stacey's bullishness on the house builders is a sign of madness, I think I need to send the old boy on a holiday to reflect. Yields of 8%, 9% and 10% for a sector tell you that what lies ahead is very bad news indeed, including, almost certainly, dividend cuts.

Tom Winnifrith BearCast - No Sleep till Brooklyn

If you are my age you may remember the song, it was a hit when I lived there and today i head over to stay with the same folks as i lived with more than 30 years ago.  Ahead of that there are more words on the gender pay gap data abuse as covered in detail HERE and then I cover  Vela (VELA) and a bursting blockchain bubble, Vitesse Media (VIS)  - opportunistic scumbags - Infrstrata (INFA), Inspirit (INSP), Collagen (COS), MySquar (MYSQ) and Frontera (FRR). And there may be major news on Air Partner (AIR) soon, I seem to have found a whistleblower. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Putting Paul Scott straight, no nudge nudge wink wink, Countrywide & Purplebricks

Paul Scott is having a go at me on twitter and on the comments section here - which I publish as I believe in free speech - but I put him straight on what research means and why he is - not for the first time - applying a double standard. Come on old boy - be fair and look at the actual facts. Then I look at Vela (VELA) and what its share price says about sentiment on the AIM Casino. En passant I cover the dog Arian (AGQ) Finally a detailed look at Countrywide (CWD) - dire statement today - and where that leaves Purplebricks (PURP). Which is the bigger short? A tweet from Scott is below:

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: We end the year with pure farce - Legendary Investments

I am still furious, in fact more so than ever. Bah fucking humbug. Christmas is cancelled. In today's podcast I look at Legendary Investments (LEG), Columbus Energy (CERP), McCarthy & Stone (MCS), Vela (VELA) and Optibiotix (OPTI) - no it will not be a pound by Christmas but I am pondering buying more shares.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - UKOG serves up more Horse Shit on Horse Hill

I am still in a foul mood. Bah fucking humbug. The season of Goodwill is cancelled. This podcast contains a lot of bad language. I look at blockchain madness: Coinsilium (COIN), On Line (ONL), Vela (VELA) and Longfin (US:LFIN) on Nasdaq. Buy why is Milestone (MSG) missing out?  Well Larry Cummins is a liar and that is just for starters. I look at Fishing Republic (FISH) where a statement is needed and then there is a detailed look at the latest horse served up by Uk Oil & Gas (UKOG) which is a stand out slam dunk sell for reasons I explain in detail.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: UK Oil & Gas today shows why a death spiral is a one way bet (down!)

Uk Oil & Gas (UKOG) today provides a case study in death spiral share price destruction. The only question wis whether the provider converted another tranche a few days ago and UK has not bothered to tell us or whether it converted today and is already selling hard. Elsewhere I look at the Tony Baldry car- crash on the way at Wesztminster Group (WSG) and try to put director share purchases at Condor (CNR) and Concepta (CPT) - which we own - into perspective. I look at Yolo (YOLO) which does not impress me much and blockchain madness at Vela (VELA). I ask what I should get the Mrs for Christmas, I am out of ideas.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Milestone, On Line, Tizania - the lunatics have taken over the AIM casino asylum

Luke Johnson was bang on the money at the weekend in his description of the current market madness. In that vein I discuss Milestone (MSG), On Line (ONL), Vela (VELA) and Tizania (TLS). This will end in tears.  I take my hat off to Luke Johnson after today's results from Patisserie Valerie (CAKE) but still have two major concerns, a three if you include valuation.  I look at Andalas (ADL) and its new death spiral funding and also cover Kefi (KEFI) and Falanx (FLX)

Tom Winnifrith Bonus Bearcast: AIM Companies starting to surf the wave of Blockchain madness - I've seen this all before

In this bonus podcast prompted by recent events at African Potash (AFPO) and ADVFN (AFN) I look back on other bouts of market insanity. There was the radio boom of the 1920s and the dot com boom of 1999-2001 but is the blockchain bubble at 1999, 2000 or 2001? Among the companies also mentioned are On Line (ONL), Vela (VELA), Milestone Group (MSG)  and Coinsilium (COIN), where we have a small holding. Madness, my friends, is in the air.
