The Patient Investor dwells in the asylum that is the ADVFN Bulletin Board and is quite literally mad. He appears to think, erroneously, that a boiler room is a place where teams of folks post on Bulletin Boards and apparently “knows” that I employ hundreds of folks in 12 distinct sites, each paid £10 an hour, to control share prices via BB postings. This is fake news of the highest order. Nurse! Nurse! The patient (investor) needs his meds upping fast! For starters: the idea that I’d pay anyone more than the minimum wage is preposterous! Just ask Steve Moore!

Remember when the FT said Inmarsat (ISAT) was going to bid 140p a share for Avanti Coms (AVN) then at 30p now at 7.26p offer? Today it had a scoop on Telit (TCM) which the company has commented on. There is a grain of truth in the FT scoop but so much of what it writes is just PR spin as I demonstrate in this podcast. I hope the journalists responsible feel soiled and dirty. As for Telit I explain the various scenarios and why the downside is huge whatever happens. I cover UK Oil & Gas. A moron reckons he is going to make money by not paying to read ShareProphets and buying more UK Oil & Gas shares instead. Since his silly email the shares have lost another 14% and are now 4p bid. Next stop 3p then 2p then whatever. Truly the moron will be rich. Not. Then I rant about how troubled Interserv (IRV) lied to investors regarding the reason why its FD left and why that matters.

As I had suggested might happen several times, Nomad Stifel has resigned the Fusionex (FXI) account. It could not wait for the AIM delisting on the 26th. Instead it gave notice after hours yesterday that it was quitting as Nomad and Broker with effect from 5PM today. Hooray.Game over.

Having been cc'd in on a list of shareholders in the AIM listed ( pro tem) fraud Cloudtag (CTAG) leaked in breach of Data Protection laws by the company itself, I could not resist sending them an email pointing them to some high quality covrerage of the stock. I received a few replies. Here is the best of the bunch. I wonder if this clown, a Mr John Simpson, thinks this will help him get his cash back and if his wife and employer knows that he spends his days sending such emails. I have to feel sorry for the chap who obviously deeply troubled.

Surely after Brexit, when almost every celebrity in Britain told the great unwashed to vote to stay, a call that was completely ignored, even the Guardian realises that celeb endorsements count for nothing. Keira Knightley can lecture me from her multi million pound mansion about why I really want to pay more taxes, have more EU diktat's ruining my life and why I should wet my pants over global warming but I just don't care. I have bills to pay and rather resent someone with no such concerns telling me how to live my life.
But the Guardian has not twigged that. After all its senior staffers in the media elite go to the same parties as Alan Bennett and the same charity bashes as Becks, Keira and Gary Lineker so they think the views of the celebs actually matter. The Guardian backed laws to stop the press exposing the hypocrisy of such celebs by exposing double standards in their private lives. It is part of an utterly out of touch liberal establishment
And thus the Guardian splashes with the news that the singer Bruce Springsteen is backing Hillary Clinton and thinks that Donald Trump is a "moron". Well there is a shock.

It seems that not everyone agrees with me pointing out that Daily Mail journalist Liz Jones produced a shoddy and misleading article on Greece. That sort of scaremongering that Ms Jones served up had damaged the tourist trade in Greece so hurting poor folks even more. Several English folks in that trade in Greece cited the Daly Mail as the worst offender. I urge you to ignore the witch Jones and the Daily Mail and go to Greece (see HERE).
