Made in UK, oops I meant Pakistan: Boohoo has no shame

The BBC’s Panorama programme last night exposed Boohoo (BOO) yet again. This time it was for sticking labels saying “Made in the UK” on tatty clothes aimed at teenage morons which were actually made in Pakistan. You might think this a minor transgression although Trading standards folks will be having a word, but it is symptomatic of the rot at the heart of Boohoo in two ways.

Revolution Beauty; Lack of profits warning, shares collapse – a new posterboy for the 2021 IPO hall of shame

On 19 July last year Revolution Beauty (REVB) joined the AIM Sewer raising £110.7 million by issuing new shares and with founders dumping £189.3 million of shares at 160p.  After a warning today about dismal trading which is so bad that it begs the question of whether Revolution will go bust, the shares are 26p. This is a new posterboy for the AIM 2021 IPO class of shame and advisers Zeus Capital should be asked some real questions.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Tortilla Mexican Grill just does not taste right and as for Chilango

I start with the usual. 94.5% of you have yet to donate despite the cows, nettles and thorn bush of the weekend. Go on, just a tenner for Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks, you know it makes sense. Please donate HERE. In today’s podcast I discuss Vin Murria and M&C Saatchi (SAA), the scoundrels at Ince (INCE) and Deepverge (DVRG), Vast Resources (VAST), Audioboom (BOOM) and then I take a very detailed look at Tortilla Mexican Grill (MEX) as it buys Chilango. This looks all wrong and another membr of the 2021 IPO hall of shame.

Artisanal Spirits – another shocking 2021 IPO, misleading with FY Numbers

Okay this is not on a par with musicMagpie (MMAG) or Parsley Box (MEAL) which are both heading for an encounter with the Fat Lady already but, still, Nomad Singer should be holding its head in shame, as reader A flags up Artisanal Spirits (ART).., Hat tip to him. Here’s why.

Nightcap – rollcall of shame

Yesterday I revealed how Sarah Willingham’s Nightcap (NGHT) was scrabbling around to raise money via a bucket shop placing.  Let’s hope it manage to spend less on this fund raise than the AIM admission which had estimated costs of admission of £1 million to raise gross proceeds of £4 million, a ludicrous 25% of money raised.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Another day of shame for AIM and why Sosandar is just not for me anymore

Today I look at three companies. I start with Skinbiotherapeutics (SBTX) where I ask if it is better to travel than to arrive? Then it is onto Sarah Willingham, Allenby Capital, The Sunday Times and their collective shame in the disgraceful AIM IPO of car crash in waiting Nightcap (NGHT). Finally I look at Sosandar (SOS).

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Bidstack shame for Justin the Clown as the coward stays silent & Ted Baker Told y'all

Will Bidstack (BIDS) be £1 at Christmas as Justin the Clown predicted or will it crash with a lack of sales & profits warning. We know it is the latter, Justin is not stupid, just tied in by a busted business model at Vox which I again challenge him to discuss with me in a podcast. So far it is silence from the cowardly clown. I look at Futura Medical (FUM), cue flopping willy jokes, Ted Baker (TED) where I told y’all what would happen and Mothercare (MTC), ditto

Tom Winnifrith Bonus Bearcast: A monkey lies down with 2 dogs and emerges covered in fleas, Vast is 'avin' a giraffe as is the FCA while St James's screws its clients

I bring you a bonus bearcast, covering the FCA taking the piss (hat tip, in-house Euro loon J Price), Andrew Monk’s VSA lying down with the lowest scumbags of the low, why I don’t believe a word AIM dog Vast Resources (VAST) says and why St James’s Place (STJ) shares are uninvestable at two levels. VSA’s invitation of shame is below.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Shame on PWC & Numis, Hat tip Jim Mellon and ouzo for a vindicated Lucian Miers

Jim Mellon says he loves listrening to my podcasts and has sent over a very interesting article following the pulled We Work IPO which I discuss at length. The into PureCircle (PURE) which Lucian has called brilliantly, notably here. Yesterday’s shock warning tells us so much about the disgraceful apathy of folks like Numis and PWC when evidence of aggressive accounting was there for all to see over many years. I discuss another company shown to be swmming with no trunks. It will not be the last.

AIQ – a one year anniversary of shame

It has now been exactly a year and two days since VSA completed its “due diligence” on AIQ (AIQ) and brought this cash shell to the Standard List. And what a year of shame it has been.

Malay Junk Fusionex - to end the AIM farce - RNS at no-one is watching a clock - as £55 million of UK cash goes up in smoke

At 5.30 PM on the Friday before the bank holiday, no-one is watching O'Clock, Fusionex (FXI) said that it was to delist from AIM. The shares closed the day off 2p at 129p but will absolutely crater Tuesday as this stinks as we have warned you so many times - as you can see HERE. Once again we are vindicated and the City pump & promote machine must hang its head in shame.

President Obama and we in Britain betray the Kurds as we back the fascist Erdogan

Of the four broad factions fighting in Syria the only grouping we might all agree to be "nice people" are the brave Kurds. President Assad (the least worst of the rest) and ISIS use chemical weapons. ISIS and the Free Syrian Army behead folks, deny women and gays all rights and are all round islamofascist bastards. The Kurds believe in democracy, liberty, don't commit war crimes and their liberated women fight with the men. What is not to like about the Kurds?

Well it seems a lot. At least that is what our leaders think. In our desperate desire to suck up to the gay

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - where has all the money gone at Teather's Financial?

In today's bearcast I look at Inspirit (INSP) and Teathers Financial (TEA) and the common threads that show why both bring shame on AIM and are uninvestable. I then look at Teathers and ask where has all the money gone and what is it trying to hide? And I explain to two prize twits what a flip flop means.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast 14 January - Blenheim disgrace, Rosslyn ramps & other AIM shockers

I start with last night's/this morning's twitter tag team trolling of me by David Lenigas and Yusuf Kajee of Afriag (AFRI). I really feel pity for them and next time I go to Church ( December 24th) will pray for them. Then it is on to ADVFN (AFN) and its share price movement, to Blenheim Natural Resources (BNR) & African Potash (AFPO) an AIM tale of shame. Then I move into Riosslyn Data (RDT) and the looming placing, blinkx (BLNX) and Restaurant Group (RTN)
