In today's Sunday Times there is a long piece about how Tory MPs are being pressurised by party members to ditch hapless Prime Minister Theresa May as soon as possible. But one quote stands out. It is from MP Heidi Allen and reminds me why I loathe the Tory establishment with such a passion. I may vote Tory but I know that most Tory MPs are just loathsome poltroons convinced of their own superiority to the rest of us. Heidi states:
“a leader and a party that will carry us through this most turbulent of periods but care about the little man . . . We have to change, and if we don’t we deserve to die."
The little man! The little man! For Fucks sake. By that you mean the chap who has four weeks holidays a year, works 40, 50 or 60 hours a week to pay taxes to fund bitches like you who earn thrice the average wage for working 30 weeks a year. Heidi, try to remember that the folks you refer to as a "little man" are your masters, you and your fellow MPs are meant to be our servants.
The truth is that Tory MPs - most of whom, like Heidi ,have safe jobs for life seats - think they are better than "the little man" but normally pretend otherwise. Just now and again the mask slips and their innate sense of superiority becomes apparent to all.
Fuck you Heidi you smug bitch. Bring on the revolution. Bring out the tumbrill. Fetch me my knitting needles.
