Poor Mohammed has been on the front page of the Express, the vile Guardian, The Daily Mail, The Times, the New York Times, as you can see below, the BBC and indeed everywhere. You could not have missed this living proof that the Israelis are starving poor Gazan kids to death. But in this Orwellian world, I am afraid that Mohammed al-Mutawaaq is a fake victim of the wicked Jews and that should make you ask an enormous question.
Mohammed al-Mutawaaq is almost two. From the outset I thought it was odd that his mum was not starving as the mothers of starving Ethiopian babies were so obviously doing back in 1984. But now the superb journalist Daid Collier as unearthed shots of poor Mohammed al-Mutawaaq, his non starving mum and his three year old brother who is very much not starving at all. Confused? It gets better.
Where is the Dad. The poor mum told a credulous BBC he was killed by the wicked Israelis going to get food on al Qassabeeb’ street on 28 October 2024. Unfortunately there is video footage of that street on that day, from Hamas no less, and there are no food stores open. Instead there is a raging street gun battle between the IDF and Hamas which saw heavy casualties on both sides. Civilians were, for very obvious reasons, nowhere to be seen.
So what on earth was any civilian doing there on that day? The BBC did not challenge the very real possibility that the dad was, in fact a Hamas fighter.
And it gets better still. Poor Mohammed’s medical record have now emerged showing that he has, from birth, suffered from cerebral palsy, neurological disorders affecting movement, muscle tone, and posture. The records show that poor Mohammed suffers from hypoxemia (low oxygen in the blood), possibly linked to a suspected genetic disorder. In other words the reason that he alone in his family looks so ghastly and close to death is not to do with the wicked Jews starving him alone in his family but because of his underlying medical conditions.
Yet the Western and Arab media are still running the original narrative. Incidentally the other posterboy of Gaza famine you may have seen this week is now shown to be a Pakistani id from a facebook page, also severely ill.
The impact of these shocking photos has been an outpouring of hate against Israelis and Jews, surging anti-semitism, France saying it will recognize Palestine and politicians rushing to condemn Israel and take action against her.
If you can step back from this hysteria ask yourself one question, knowing, as you do that the Israel backed GHF is supplying more than one 2,500 calorie meal per day per head of population in Gaza, “why if there are so many real starving kids do Gaza media sources, all approved by Hamas, feel the need to push out images of starving kids and babies that are fake?”
You know the answer to that question and the West has again been played. When an israeli here in Greece has his ear bitten off by a Syrian migrant and the cops arrest the Israeli, when young French jews are turfed off a Spanish plane just for singing a song in Hebrew, wen Jews are ordered out of restaurants, those media outlets (I am afraid almost all of them) falling for Hamas fake starving kids must shoulder some of the blame.
And our politicians should be brave enough to defy the mob. I know that polls suggest that most Brits now oppose Israel and many actually back Hamas but our leaders should call Hamas propagandists out and tell people in Airstrip One what is actually happening in Gaza. And if they did then people’s views would change.
They will not. We live in truly dark times.
