Six buckets of apples from the new trees I planted in the upper orchard and what was the jungle went into the scratter, the blue machine below.
That becmes a pulp which my friend C and I pressed and the juice almost filled two 25 litre buckets.
With Camden tablets added, which should ensure the juice is good to drink for many weeks, I then started bottling up and now have plenty for Sharestock, to hand out to neighbours and for family use. There are also the apples from the old orchard to deal with, at least the same again if not more. And a lot of newly planted pears as well.
