I do not often say good things about the mother of my eldest son but she and he have covered themselves in glory in recent weeks. They are now boycotting the Co-Op, as am I, for caving in to those who have for years demanded folks stop stocking Israeli goods, folks driven not by recent events in Gaza but by long standing Israelaphobia . But they have gone a step further and both just visited Israel in solidarity.
My son’s sister, a regular attendee at the “Hamas peace camp” in Cambridge is not so enlighted. Anyhow those on the side of light are now back and have sent through a raft of photos from Masada, the Dead Sea, Hostage Square in Tel Aviv, various biblical sights around Jerusalem, of a camel and the ones below from Yad Vashem, the holocaust museum.
I must admit to having some trepidations about the trip but my son and my ex are clearly made of sterner stuff than am I . I’m proud of them both
