Watching Rachel Reeves this morning it is quite clear that my wife and I are going to see material tax rises over the next year despite our household income actually falling. My proposed solution is to sell up in wet and windy Wales and move to our mountain eco palace in sunny Greece where we could either retire on our savings and home school the kids or carry on working and, actually, pay less tax. The Mrs has no plan B but I fear plan B it will be. We will just soldier on and feel cheated and unhappy.
When Reform UK says that it will not now promise tax cuts and will attack Government spending it is, at long last, being realistic as I have privately urged it to be for a while.

How many State funded employees (including ghastly Sadiq Khan and his climate czar, Tracy Brabin the Mayor of West Yorkshire, and others) have jetted off on your taxes to have fun? Even if global warming is real, what will the presence of Ms Brabin and Mr Khan actually achieve? These grifters are just tone deaf.
And so to Mr Hakam Gaith who has attended numerous pro Gaza Jew hating rallies in recent months. On Saturday November 1 as a Police car was set on flames he jumped on top. He was found to have brought bottles of accelerant to the scene so this was planned arson. As he jumped on the car he was waving the Koran and shouting Alluhar Akbar. He had previously threatened to attack Police vehicles and after this one he said he’d do it again.
Mr Gaith is Jordanian and, the Campaign Against Anti Semitism has now shown that he has been in the UK for five years claiming asylum and also universal credits while working as a male escort, a gay rent boy. Though able to ply his trade without an interpreter he demanded a taxpayer funded Arabic speaker to assist him when in Court.
