The X poster below thinks I am a “prick” for calling out the IRA/Sinn Fein leader for her Bondi Beach crocodile tears. He probably thinks I am Jewish too. He blames the massacre of Jews at Bondi Beach on…er the Jews. Of course he does.
For this man says that all of the bad things that happen to the Jews: Bondi Beach, October 7, the holocaust are because the Jews asked for it. They deserve to die because they kill non Jewish babies. He even has a grossly offensive picture of Simon of Trent to prove it.
The Trent referred to is Trentino in Italy where in 1472 Simon was born and died aged a few months of natural causes. But the locals insisted that it was the Jews who had killed him to use his blood for making matzos, a form of bread used at Passover. The body of poor Simon was exhumed and the charges were found to be false but 15 Jews were executed anyway. This use of the blood of infant non Jews for making Passover bread is one of the most common blood libels. It has always been false but there are always folks who fall down the rabbit hole and believe it.
Spreading such libels only encourages more anti-semitism and more acts of violence against Jews. It is evil. As a non Jew but one who has always stood with the Jewish community and Israel I flagged up the post to X which, after several hours, said that it did not violate any of its rules.
I truly despair at the direction of travel of the Western world.
