Companies that default on one payment often default on more, it is a sign of a company in real trouble. However they dress it up, a company that cannot pay its bills, especially if it is clearly a fiat guzzler, is one that is simply not investment grade. Two companies leap to mind on news today. Shares in both, about which I have repeatedly warned, are just univestable.
