Yesterday I showed how, thanks to God’s intervention, Joshua and i were able to pick our neighbour’s damsons without leaving our own garden. With c250 damsons picked and weigfhed up to 1.5kg exactly it was time to play with the new toys ordered from amazon.

I guess folks in islington all have gadgets like this to destone the olives ordered from Tuscany so that they can be infused at home with a range or organically grown herbs. Though I did live in Islington for a while I have never owned an olive de-stoner until now and for some reason the £6.99 purchase from Amazon came with two gadgets. Joshua was terribly excited about these new toys as you can see below, but his enthusiasm, once we started work, soon waned. And thus the final scores on the doors were Joshua 4, myself 246.

Now the recipe involves boiling up the stones as well as the flesh so both are now ready for jam making. But for that process I must keep you in suspense for another day.
