The BBC the 100 genders for 9 year olds and the cover up!

I do not specialise in spotting the ways that the BBC insults those folks forced under threat of jail to cough up £157.50 a year, whether they watch or listen to its ghastly content or not. But it would be an all too easy way to spend my life for the BBC is its own worst enemy. Its grossly overpaid staff live in a woke bubble where they seem unable to recognise just how out of touch their values are with those of the vast majority of the population.

This past week, I have picked up on the smug idiocy of Daniel Sandford and of Katya Adler, but I could easily have run 100 pieces such is the behaviour of the state run broadcaster and its staff. There was one episode which has stood out this past fortnight and that was the transmission of a programme aimed at 9-12 year olds as part of the BBC’s schools output, so vital – we are told – in this period of lockdown.

The show featured Relationships and Sex Education teacher Kate Daniels telling two young children that there were “so many gender identities”. She said “So we know we’ve got male and female, but there are over 100, if not more, gender identities now… you’ve got some people who might call themselves gender queer, who are just like ‘I don’t really want to be anything in particular, I’m just going to be me.”

Maybe in Brighton, Bath, Oxford and parts of North London that statement might be thought to be factually accurate but most folks, I suggest, think that it is absolute rot. You and I and nearly all of the population think that there are two genders: birds and blokes. The idea that there are more than 100 is ludicrous.  That is one objection to Ms Daniels’ words.

But the real issue is that of pumping it out to 9 year olds. I do not think most of them will know about the birds and the bees at that point. Discussions about sexuality follow on soon after but the idea of discussing gender identities with a nine year old is obscene. That no-one at the BBC thought to consider that is an indictment of the corporation.

Naturally there was widespread criticism and the BBC responded after more than a week by pulling the programme. It did not apologise, instead it stated that the video was being withdrawn not because of a change of view about the content but because the resource had allegedly been “wilfully misinterpreted by parts of the media and others on social media”.

There you have it. The BBC insists that it was right to expose nine year olds to this mind pollution but is only stopping doing so because there are a stack of bigots lying about what it was up to. You will note that, in my critique, I have used direct quotes from the show. I misinterpret nothing, the BBC merely smears those who dare question its output.

Each day, 500 folks in Britain cancel their licenses. That means that after five and a half days of cancellations, the BBC has a hole the size of Fiona Bruce’s salary to fill. After three and a half weeks, it has a hole the size of Zoe Ball’s & Gary Lineker’s combined salaries to fill. And things are getting worse for the BBC. Adding to normal inflation all employers face, it has opted to “close the gender pay gap” by giving some bumper pay rises to female “talent”.  As each day goes by, more and more folk, struggling in a harsh economic climate, will decide not to pay the BBC poll tax. Events such as the screening of this appalling show and the lies involved in covering up its withdrawal will only accelerate that trend.

There will become a point where the current system becomes unenforceable as so many folks just refuse to pay. The BBC cannot threaten us all with jail. Bring it on! #DefundtheBBC
