BREAKING: Jim Mellon, Matt Earl and Malcolm Burne join the fun – Sharestock 2023 now open for bookings

Some folks said that I did not give them enough notice about ShareStock 2022 so they were on holiday, could not find anywhere to stay or had accepted a prior engagement. So for 2023 I am giving you almost a year’s notice of an even more unusual event! We start with some amazing new speakers:

Jim Mellon, one of the several folks dubbed Britain’s Buffett, is flying for the day as a new headline speaker as is the Dark Destroyer Matt Earl. One bull, one bear, both men are a cracking source of ideas. The gold and bitcoin chat retains Peter Hambro and myself from 2022 but we will be joined on stage by gold veteran Malcolm Burne and bitcoin, crypto and silver guru Dominic Frisby.

From 2022 the Lucian Miers & Tom Winnifrith double act will be back and I will also take to the stage with Britain’s most passionate chain smoker Pete Brailey to discuss oil and energy in the macro sense but also oil stocks to buy and sell.

And there will be more, both stars from 2022 but also new expert speakers. Watch this space.

As in 2022 we will be serving home made breakfast, lunch, tea and supper and all day booze. Following a trial run of home made nettle beer, that will join the Wrexham lager and Magic Dragon ales as well as wine and prosecco in the drinks tent.

And over supper from 6 PM Dominic Frisby and one Gilet Jaune will be performing a raft of his hit songs. Folks wanted music and a band. You got it!

There is more to reveal over the coming 50 weeks: three CEOs to be grilled and duffed up (verbally) by me, three more main stage speakers and a few other surprises including planned improvements to the fishing access should you want to go fishing for salmon, perch, eels or pike rather than listen to Luciana and myself. The venue is, again, the listed farm owned by the Mrs on the River Dee in tents on the new raised lawn.  There is talk of moving some of the show inside the goat barn which will not have goats until 2024 but now has amazing new windows and could be made pretty plush by next September.

Next September? Yes the date is 23 September 2023.

My friend Brokerman Dan says I should build this event up to having 1000+ attendees spread over the fields. I think he confuses me for a young man with boundless stores of energy!  And he misses the point of ShareStock. At this event you can eat, drink and chat with the speakers and other guests, lying on the lawn or trying to win Joshua’s croquet contest.  It is not a mass event but a personal one which I only do as it is fun for me. Organising a mass event would not be fun! I am out of that game!

Attendance really will be capped at 150 maximum but 115 would suit me better if I am to bring the goat barn into play.

The website is sort of up and running with details of more local accomodation now included but with the timetable and full speaker line up not yet concluded. But it is taking bookings now and you can see it HERE
