But the establishment countered this not by denying it but by insisting that 88% of offenders were white, as opposed to 87% of the population. And that those who challenged that narrative were clearly racist. Okay Pakistanis, 3% of the population were massively overrepresented among the grooming gang nonces but just focus on the 88% number and talk about white offenders. As I noted yesterday HERE, the BBC is even now pushing that narrative in a wholly shameless manner.
Now we know how this 88% number was arrived at. Quite simply the ethnicity of vast numbers of offenders was simply not recorded. Now it could be that this was because they were overwhelmingly white and the establishment wanted to hide that. Or it could be that those whose ethnicity was not recorded were overwhelmingly Pakistani. What do you think?
I know what I think and we will now get to know the real numbers however much the Government tries to muzzle the new National Enquiry by, for instance, focusing it on just five towns not all fifty where there was a problem.
And if the complete data shows that the 88% number was just fantasy which allowed the establishment not to address what was a massive problem, should there not be resignations or sackings? There should be but there will not be. The public sector is never held accountable for its failings which is why it keeps on failing.
If you are to stop a problem from continuing you need to both establish the real problem but also why it was not addressed in the past and who was responsible for that.
