For more than two years the UN, the media – especially the BBC – and most of the political and academic class have pushed the narratives of genocide and starvation in Gaza and across the Palestinian Authority caused by wicked Israel. But facts are often inconvenient.
I showed here how Gaza’s population has actually increased despite the wicked Jews and their genocide and how Israel clearly targeted combatants in the post October 7 war. So to use the term genocide ( or, as some vile ghouls do, holocaust) is an insult to those who suffered real genocides: the Rwandans, Cambodians, ethnic Germans after WW2, Christians in Sudan today and, of course, the wicked Jews themselves.
But what of the starvation line? Okay the only photos that Hamas PR were able to produce to the yellow media of the West were of starving kids in Yemen or Syria passed off as Gazans, were AI or were kids from Gaza with other health conditions. Okay the GHF pumped in vast amounts of food. But still we were told about how vast numbers of Gazans were starving. Yet there is now data out from, of all folks, UNICEF on obesity and weight issues in Israel and in the West Bank and Gaza.
Obesity rates in the “Palestinian” territories are higher than in Israel:
Ages 5–9:
• Israel: 23%
• “Palestine”: 28%
Ages 10–14:
• Israel: 28%
• “Palestine”: 33%
Ages 15–19:
• Israel: 19%
• “Palestine”: 32%
And adults?
There is nearly 40% obesity in Gaza and also across “Palestine”, far above Israel’s 23%.
We were told by the BBC that Gazan adults were going hungry to feed their kids. But the data seems to suggest that Gazan adults are even fatter than their kids. They must have eaten all the pies or, at least, the produce from Gaza’s numerous Nutella stores.
If “Palestine” were a country, it would be the 27th fattest nation on earth.
But why let facts get in the way of a narrative that thanks to evil men like Jeremy Bowen simply demonises the Jews. Thanks to two years of brainwashing I bet most folks in the West really do think that Palestinians are starving and that fat Israelis are to blame. We live in a post fact world..
