BBC cannot bring itself to headline the big story on terror threat, those darn jihadists

Another day, another reason to wonder why on earth I have to pay a license fee to fund the BBC. This time the subject is the terror threat. Read the headline below “fastest-growing UK terror threat is from far right” and you would think that the streets are crawling with Nazis wanting to blow us up. Well er…not exactly, as the text of the article makes clear.

Sally Jones: stay and die in Raqqa or maybe live with Gary Lineker, we don't want you back on Benefits Street UK

In 2013, Sally Jones a, then, 45 year old former punk rocker who has never worked in her whole life moved to Raqqa to join ISIS with her younger husband. happily he was wiped out by a US drone strike but living off his widow's pension Sally, or Umm Hussain al-Britani as she would rather be known, has continued to fight the good fight. Until now.

Her young son was shown on video being taught how to behead infidels. She ranted on line about wanting to behead Christians with a blunt knife and to kill Jews. She and her late lamented husband were shown to have been involved in more than a dozen attempted terror attacks in the West. Working for ISIS in Raqqa she is believed to have recruited dozens of other Western women to the cause, persuading them to also flee to Raqqa.

But now Sally has let it be known that she wants to come "home".

Finsbury Park terror attack - humanity appals me but impresses me

Last night a white man driviing a white van ploughed into folks standing outside the Finsbury Park Mosque. One man is dead, ten are injured and the terrorist is in police custody. Yes he is a terrorist. Folks may say that he has mental health issues but the sort of people making that excuse fail to accept it as a defence when someone committing a terror attack is a Muslim. The man carried out an act of terror and apparently shouted out "I want to kill all Muslims" - he's a terrorist. That the attack took place outside a Mosque that has been a hotspot for extremism and hate makes no difference and is no justification.

Manchester Terror attack - its General Election Impact

This is a human tragedy, it is a mass murder, the story is of shattered and broken lives. However there is still going to be a General Election on June 8 and it is a legitimate question: will this attack make an impact? The answer I suspect is that it will though folks may consider it tasteless to speculate about it, it cannot be ignored. Terror attacks are just not good news for Jeremy Corbyn.

Manchester Attack happens as we celebrate return of ISIS brides & fighters - are we bonkers?

Naturally the Manchester Arena terror attacks dominate our thoughts today. Across new media snowflakes are lighting virtual candles, adding twibbons #prayingforManchester (although only crazy old people believe in God!) and are busy reporting Katie Hopkins to the Met for the hate crime of suggesting that the assailant might have been a Moslem. I really hope that the Old Bill don't waste their time on whatever happened at the Manchester Arena and focus all their efforts on making sure that Katie Hopkins has no right to free speech. Let's get our priorities right.

The Orwellian BBC - another good reason to refuse to pay your license today: Ansbach

I have noted HERE that the BBC will do anything it can not to report that a Moslem has killed Westerners in a terror attack. And when it is finally forced to accept that the latest atrocity was (as per usual) committed by an Islamist it makes all sorts of excuses. These days its Orwellian spin is in overdrive but with the Ansbach attack it surpassed itself. Who was the victim? Yes you got it in one did you not? As you can see below...

UKIP sinks to new lows with its charter it wants ALL Muslims to sign

In 1930s Germany the Jews were in the early stages marked out by having to wear a yellow star. Today UKIP MEP Gerard Batten has just demanded that all Muslims sign a charter saying they denounce violence.  Go on fellows just form an orderly line. My stomach turns.

Who does UKIP describe as a Muslim? Is the utterly non-believing but Muslim born (public school and Cambridge educated) husband of my dear cousin Heather going to have to sign the charter? What about their kids, brought up by their devoutly Christian mother and non-believing (but Muslim born) father? What about their kids? The Nazis used to get terribly worked up about these sort of issues. Will UKIP give an exemption to Muslims who have fought for this country just as the Nazis initially did for WW1 Jewish veterans?

Will this stop one act of terror?
