BREAKING: One rule for Gavin Burnell of the Globo fraud infamy, another for the plebs in the Elephant oil IPO like Andrew Bell

Mr Andrew Bell of Red Rock Resources (RRR) – Eton and Oxford – may be unused to being called a pleb, certainly by a ghastly little oik like Gavin Burnell of the Globo (GBO) fraud infamy. But it seems that in the float of Elephant Oil in the USA, there are two classes of investor and Red Rock is very much the lower class while the frightful Burnell is king of the castle.

Voting in the MCC special ballot

When I was 16 my father arranged for me to join the Marylebone Cricket Club waiting list and a few cold winters later I found myself a member of the world’s most famous cricket club. These days the waiting list is an eternity long. As I am allergic to London, I have not been to a match in years. My in-laws are the only Indian family on earth with no interest in cricket but I keep on forking out the Country membership fee on the basis that one day I shall retire and head down to snooze in the sun watching a spot of cricket at Lords.

It is my dead Dad’s Birthday

I am sure that my siblings and a number of other folks who loved my dad, who died last October, will be remembering that it is his birthday today. He would have been 83.

Remembering those terrifying interviews 17 years ago as Olaf’s Prep school headmistress ticks me off

If you have not tried to get your kid into one of those horribly competitive North London prep schools where everyone wants their brats to be educated, you have no idea just how competitive and nerve-wracking it all is. I am reminded of this as Olaf’s old HM from The Village School, an occasional reader of this website, ticks me off for my poor grammar.

New poll: Boris & Princess Nut Nuts blow up the red wall - get ready for your P45 in Wrexham Sarah Atherton

There is a new poll out today which shows that the red wall is collapsing. A year ago in traditionally Labour seats like Wrexham, where I live, the Tories were on 48% with Labour on 39%. Now Labour leads by 47% to 41%. Of course, there are four years to the next election but MPs such as the ghastly Sarah Atherton, in these parts, should see that the writing is on the wall. Like so many folks here in Wrexham handed P45s thanks to insane lockdown policies – supported by silly Sarah –, folks like Ms Atherton will themselves be encountering a P45 in due course.

BREAKING: Tories announce that rich people cannot spread Covid

Quarantine the plebs, lock up the oiks, for the Tories know that it is only filthy common people who can spread Covid. The dirty dogs. Not the sort of folks you want on your 30 person grouse shoot. Unless they are a beater, of course.

Manolete: attempted PR hit job on ShareProphets as company issues woeful attempted rebuttal of our dossier

Last week I published a detailed dossier on Manolete (MANO) explaining why the shares, then 515p, were worth 80p. Today the company has published an attempted rebuttal which starts with upper class twit PR scumbags Instinctif trying to smear ShareProphets. The shares are off another 15p at 395p.  The PR men may find smearing journalists almost as entertaining as mutual masturbation behind the bike sheds at Eton, but the markets are not convinced. I shall deal witrh that smear in bearcast later. First why the rebutall is so weak.

Photo Report: Day 2 of the olive harvest at the Greek Hovel

And so to day two of the olive harvest. We merry band of three all have our jobs. As you can see below, Shareprophets reader Bernard really is wearing shorts and a T shirt as, during the day it is hot enough to do so. He trained as an engineer and so, naturally, he is the twerker specialist.

The Field Number 5 - My Godfather Vicious, Anthony & Cleopatra

I have mentioned my Godfather Vicious in another context elsewhere, that is to say his tendency to fall for lesbians, something that has somehow passed on to me. During our time at Butterwell farm Byfield when I was a young boy, Vicious was in a "between lesbian phase", that is to say his wife who much later became a lesbian had left him as a fresult of his own naughtiness, but he was yet to hook up with the mother of his daughter who then left him for another woman.

The Call Me Dave sham exposed big time this Christmas

David Cameron's rich, tax-dodging, stockbroker father paid for him to go to Eton from where he went to Oxford. One proper job ( well sort of) was arranged for young David after Oxford, a stint as the PR man for Carlton Communications. Then he started to climb the greasy pole. With a Mrs who was even more minted by dint of inherited wealth, the Camerons were clearly in the 1% not the 99% and never had to worry about money.

Toff Bashing by the Daily Mail in a "post fact" era

There is nothing wrong with a bit of toff bashing now and again. The sorrow of seeing an airhead Lib Dem win the Richmond Park by-election was softened by the fact that the defeated, sort of, Tory was the slippery posh Cameron type twit Zac Goldsmith. But even in what is deemed a "post-fact era" it helps to er..get your facts right when lambasting those born with silver spoons emerging from every orifice.

Panama Papers: 4 times David Cameron refuses to answer the question re his tax dodging dad - why not?

David Cameron's late dad set up offshore trusts to avoid tax. It was legal but in the view of many of us a tad seedy. Did Call Me Dave or his family benefit personally? Cameron has now issued four statements but not answered the critical frigging questions.

In statement one Cameron said it was none of our business, in statement two he said he owned no shares or offshore Trusts, statement three saw CMD saying his family and he were not benefitting from the trusts and statement four said they will not benefit from them.

But the specific questions we really need to have answered are:

The Guardian: Lies, rugby, Eton toffs and Homosexuals

The Guardian's Stuart Jeffries pens a lengthy piece on rugby and tackling in schools which says nothing in particular in a fairly tedious way. But in the way it treats No 8 and Eton College it says far more about this awful publication than about the art of the scrummage.

Mr Jeffries, a grammar school boy, seems convinced that many rugger players are toffs and thus manages to get in several paragraphs about Eton. The only minor issue with this approach is that because of the Wall Game and rowing, rugger is a relatively minor sport at Eton. To lambast rugger as a game which most public schools in England play would be accurate if rather pointless but to single out the one major public school where rugger does not dominate the winter term, is just the Guardian way. Never let facts get in the way of a spot of Eton bashing with a dose of Call Me Dave abuse thrown in for good measure.

For the record I am no particular fan of Eton or of Call Me Dave but facts do matter.

And that brings me to the author's insistence that at his grim North Midlands grammar school, as a Number 8, he was forced to bind onto the two second rows by sticking his hand between their legs, rubbing past their testicles and grabbing their shirt. At length he describes the homo-erotic nature of this encounter.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Petropavlovsk, Peter Hambro, Indaba - you make me sick

City grandee Sir Peter Hambro is quoted in today's Daily Mail, bleating about how prvate investors in Petropavlovsk (POG) hate him and might allow his POS company to go into administration. Good. I hope they do. I view Mr Hambro and his company with contempt. He is a rich man and shareholders have lost up to 98% of their cash.  But Eton educated Hambro just does not get this becuase he thinks he is better than we peasants. I also look at the crony capitalist knees up starting at Indaba. Jeepers these folk all make me so angry for how they abuse ordinary private investors.

This podcast might offend some folks in the City who enjoy being crony capitalists and do not understand why their ongoing party paid for by private investors who have done their conkers is so nauseating for the rest of us. If you are offended by this podcast you can just piss off becuase I find your arrogance and sleazy ways incredibly offensive too but at least l can sleep soundly at night.
