I am a bit of a Chill Brands (CHLL) groupie and have been ever since it was Zoetic (ZOE). That does not make me a fan. I published a massive bear dossier when the shares were 76p and, despite my colleagues, a friend and me facing active harassment from a paid thug, have been bearish ever since. Perhaps the incredibly dim, journalist-smearing, PR man Henry Harrison Topham advised his clients that sneaking out one of the worst results statements I have ever seen at 6.25 PM on the last day of the month on which it was promised would mean that nobody noticed. There is a reason why, despite all those expensive Harrow fees, Henry only managed to gain acceptance at Northumbria University when it was still Newcastle Polytechnic. We all know the reason is its battle to persuade the auditors that it has enough cash to survive for 12 months. Which it does not. But instead of delivering its numbers, it served up trading statements on July 1 and July 29 and last night said that covid had caused delays and the results would be out in August. The FCA should have thrown the book at Standard Listed Zoetic (ZOE) when – with the shares at 76p on February 3 2021 – I passed it this damning dossier. To have suffered such slippage amid a bull market for pot and small cap stocks takes some doing and is, in itself, something of a red flag. Amazingly, more than 25% of the free float is held on margin and the largest single holder of CFDs is the proven liar John Story, with c6% of the company at risk of margin calls. We already know that Story has had to walk away from a couple of placing commitments he had made since early April due to his increasing margin pressure at Zoetic.

They are still about 55p overvalued and with 25% of the equity owned via CFDs there are going to be an awful lot of margin calls being issued as each new low is hit. That will create some forced selling so making this a sort of rolling maul which will see anyone dumb enough to keep holding racking up ever greater losses far more quickly than they might think. And thus at this juncture I ponder the issue of revenue recognition, now that Zoetic appears to have a bit of revenue. I say “appears” quite deliberately.

In a recent bearcast I termed Zoetic (ZOE) a cannabis stock. The company says that this is wrong it is a hemp stock. I am happy to apologise although my thesis of a company late to jump into a bursting bubble and with cashflow issues that require an urgent equity raise is unchanged. But I’m sorry for my sloppy use of language which just shows how long ago it was that I did any first hand personal research into this matter. Now to the apology Zoetic needs to issue.

I say this as a Star Wars groupie: I went with my daughter todaty and it was pure woke rubbish. It really was awful. I was bored, annoyed and almost walked out. I thenm discuss Bidstack (BIDS), caught up ion its own lies and running out of cash and Zoetic International (ZOE) caught up in its own poor judgement and running out of cash.

I start by discussing visiting my local chemist and a few more thoughts on the canabbis bubble referring the hound Highland Natural Resources (HNR) which is transitioning and now wishes to be known as the bitch ZOE. I comment on Versarien (VRS) and the shocking Iconic (ICON) RNS. Then I go to town on Telit (TCM) and its interims where the numbers simply make no sense at all.
