OptiBiotix Health (OPTI) has announced it has appointed Graham Myers as part-time Finance Director “to support the focus on driving each business unit and the group to profitability”. With it also added that “the appointment reflects the progress we have made in 2023 after a difficult 2022”, we look for the prospective trading news to boost the shares from a current 26.25p, below £24 million market capitalisation. Having an FD is part of growing up as a company and we welcome this big time.

Tom Winnifrith does not understand Skinbiotherapeutics like I do, his target is all wrong

Oh dear, the last time that Elrico/Lemming Investor commented on my analysis was when I said sell Optibiotix (OPTI) at 132p. He said that I did not understand the company properly, yadda, yadda, yadda. The rest is history. BREAKING: Email Exchange with Steve O’Hara about that share sale yesterday & new price target for Optibiotix

OptiBiotix Health – current trading disappointment, but highly favourable risk/reward here?

OptiBiotix Health (OPTI) has announced that it now expects half-year sales in its new structure to be materially lower than expected and, though it expects sales normalising in the second half and healthy growth next year, the current year is to now be “insufficient to make up the H1 deficit”. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: I start the expose of a new well known zero in waiting tomorrow but here are three to tuck into first

Forgive the voice. Last week’s cold has left me sounding like I have been swallowing gravel. I start with a few words about distractions today which included ordering 72 blackthorn plants and 12 wild blackberry bushes and fetching antique Welsh furniture to go to Greece. Then I ponder whether Nigel is reinvesting his Ariana (AAU) dividends in Ariana (AAU).I explain why I am not and where I am putting the cash. Or  rather I am sitting on the fence between Optibiotix (OPTI) and Skinbiotherapeutics (SBTX). The 3x company I mentioned on Saturday, is a well known one and will be exposed via a multi-part series kicking off tomorrow at 8.30 AM and it is, I am sure, a zero.  Ahead of then I discuss what makes a real bear market and how it affects rubbish stocks out of cash. Until you see  a good few RNS statements each month saying that “shares are suspended pending clarification” you are not in a bear market.  In that vein, I mention three POS companies which RIGHT NOW have no cash and are burning it: Vast Resources (VAST), Chill Brands (CHLL) and Supply@ME Capital (FRAUD) and I discuss the next steps for that trio and why the net is tightening on them.

OptiBiotix Health – intention to list its ProBiotix Health business on AQSE, Strong Buy…

OptiBiotix Health (OPTI) has announced that it intends to seek admission of its ProBiotix Health business onto the AQSE Growth Market with an associated fund raise of approximately £2.5 million at an indicative premoney valuation of £22.5 million and a distribution in specie. With, at a 35.5p share price, OptiBiotix as a whole currently capitalised at £31.3 million, is this good news? You bet!

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: All about Optibiotix apart from a few comments on the most despicable MBE out there

I do comment about Julie Meyer’s latest tweet. Suicide is no joking matter and this act alone should see her lose her MBE. But most of this podcast is about events today at Optibiotix (OPTI) whose core businessis not worth MINUS £12 million as Mr Market implies. Ahead of the 24th March FYB! A pedant points out that at 14 mins in I say Optibiotix shareholders will get a distribution of 36-38%of Skinbiotherapeutics – clearly  meant Probiotix. Apologies – long covid strikes again.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Optibiotix & chatting to Steve O'Hara as Lemming Investor walks away

There was no Bearcast yesterday as I was a) knackered after a tough Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks training walk and then b) a bit pissed after Ireland’s triumph over the infidels. You can now donate to the 2022 Rogue Bloggers walk on June 11 HERE. In today’s podcast I discuss Optibiotix (OPTI), a long chat with Steve O’Hara and an, in my view, mistaken, but for him massive, call by Lemming Investor. I also cover SkinBiotherapeutics (SBTX). The Russia/Ukraine podcast I refer to is HERE

OptiBiotix Health – “in line” trading update, but now time for profitable delivery...

OptiBiotix Health (OPTI) has issued a trading update commenting that 2021 “total invoiced sales for the group were £2.2m (2020: £1.5m) an increase of 46.7% on the previous year and in line with market expectations” and including that it “has made good progress against its stated aims of focusing on a smaller number of large partners in key strategic markets and expects to see the benefits of these in 2022 and beyond”. What does that mean at the bottom-line?

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Sitting on the fence with Lucian Miers

I start with Ukraine, Russia and all that macro shite and say a few things which challenge the Western narrative and which some of you may disagree with violently. I cover Ferrexpo (FXPO), Amur (AMC) and Eurasia (EUA) in this section. I mention Cineworld (CINE) and then discuss today’s news from Optibiotix (OPTI) and, en passant, Skinbiotherapeutics (SBTX) where I am buying more shares this afternoon.

Tom Winnifrith Bonus Bearcast - why I think Skinbiotherapeutics is a 10 bagger (or more) from here

As you know I am reviewing my pension as discussed HERE. As such I am chatting to various CEOs who I have backed and yesterday evening I had a long chat with Stuart Ashman of Skinbiotherapeutics (SBTX). He is not a bluffing promoter but, I believe, a sober and grounded chap. I came away from the call just incredibly excited. I explain why the share price is where it is but also why this could within a couple of years be a 10 bagger but it could equally be a 20 bagger. Certainly any free cash within my SIPP will, even at twice today’s price be going into this stock. And if I am right there is a clear implication for Optibiotix (OPTI) so I am not selling any shares in it either.  Footnote/correction. There are not 2 million psoriasis sufferers worldwide as per podcast but 120 million. I can’t say that weakens the case!

I start with two attempts to restrict what I say, one HERE and another to be discussed later. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Telling a gardener to feck off for being a Good German and a long chat with Steve O'Hara

Yes I was dealing with a covidiot. We just cannot go onlike this. If folks want to be Good Germans they can be but I cannot be arsed with such poltroons.  Then I look at Cineworld (CINE) prompted by this news from Ealing as well as my earlier piece HERE. My only question is whether my target is 0p or 2p.  Then SpaceandPeople (SAL) and words on overdrafts. That also applies to Omega Diagnostics (ODX) which I cover. Then today’s warning from the Bank of England is discussed and its importance and grim implications. Finally my chat with Steve O’Hara, forecasts for Optibotix (OPTI) and where the shares will be in three years.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: The Hitpiece NFT heist, the madness moves up another level

I start with Hitpiece  – the latest NFT scam. Aren’t all NFT’s scams? I discuss the ephemeral nature of contemporary music as an asset class. Then onto Amigo (AMGO) where – with the shares surging – it is surely ‘a mega’ short. Then it is onto regulatory and ethical failure at Braveheart (BRH) and Chamberlin (CMH), the common links being the scumbag Trevor Brown and the scallywags at Peterhouse Capital. Then on to more regulatory failure at Chill Brands (FRAUD) before I take along look at UK SPAC (SPC) and all who sail in her. Finally a few words on Optibiotix (OPTI) where I plan to catch up with Steve O’Hara later today.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - It is Holocaust Memorial Day again

I start with reflections on how my generation has first hand contact with survivors and victims but young folks do not. Perhaps that is why so many of them are blase about anti-semitism.  Light a candle tonight. We will. Then onto an RNS about me not mentioning me. Optibiotix (OPTI), Eurasia Mining (EUA), Doc Martens (DOCS) and Challenger Energy (CEG). I said I’d mention madness incarnate but forgot to.My reference ws to Wildcat Petroleum (WCAT) , up 28% today at 2.7p valuing a company with sub £200,000 cash and no assets at all at £65 million. OptiBiotix Health and SkinBioTherapeutics – further progress & triggers for dramatic 2022 re-rate

OptiBiotix Health (OPTI) was one of our tips of the year, with we anticipating financial progress as its deals for its compounds expand and further deals kick-in. It has now announced that a further human volunteer study on its cholesterol-reducing probiotic LPLDL - on a different population group of hypercholesterolemic adults – has shown “at six weeks, when volunteers taking placebo were compared to those taking LPLDL, there were statistically significant changes to clinically important cardiovascular risk”, including “34.2% reduction in total cholesterol (p=0.001)”.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: A sleazy PWC report does not excuse grotesque NED share option greed at Optibiotix, it stinks

I start with a few minutes on Woodlarks. This may be my last year doing the Rogue Bloggers Walk but myself, Lucian Miers and Jonathan Price are minded to do it once more in May or June. On the basis that it could be a last hurrah and that you may want to consider a way of shifting that Christmas belly bulge how about you join us in 2022? Then onto Optibiotix (OPTI) where its NEDs have behaved in a most disgraceful way with free money share option troughing. As a loyal shareholder this is another kick in the gonads for me and I urge Steve O’Hara to sack three of the four of them and replace them with one new, less greedy, individual. Actually I’d go for all four booting out chairman Neil Davidson as well.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - a helpful graphic explaining the Cineworld smoke and mirrors today

I record from the Welsh Hovel which is once again a building site. Excuse any background noise. Then it is onto Cineworld (CINE) and, with the graphic below – hat tip EB. I explain why its trading statement is so deceptive and why the shares are still a sell. Finally a few words on Optibiotix (OPTI) & Skinbiotherapeutics (SBTX) and today’s confirmation of what a good journalist I am. What does it mean for both stocks?

I told you that this would happpen weeks ago producing more bluster and fake denials from all involved. Fuckers! Cenkos: Optibiotix at 55p is worth 178.75p

Cenkos is house broker to Optibiotix (OPTI) so it is biased. I own a truck load of shares in Optibiotix so I am biased. But this 34 page note is detailed and may give you pause for thought. Steve O’Hara is doing an online presentation and Q&A tonight. I am not attending as I am washing my hair. Brokers notes and investor love-ins are all very well what I want to see now are material revenues and profits. Optibiotix – what is the point of a lock in agreement? Even a signed agreement from Steve O'Hara is worth jack shit

I think Optibiotix (OPTI) shares are very cheap as are those of Skinbiotherapeutics (SBTX) and am a loyal shareholder in both expecting to treble my money from here. Nor do I begrudge Optibiotix selling a few shares in Skinbiotherapeutics as it announced it had today as I imagine that will more than pay for a Nasdaq listing which may drive a re-rate. But I suggest that, in light of today’s events, a document signed by Steve O’Hara and Nomad and broker Cenkos is a worthless piece of toilet paper and both have legged over and deceived investors in Skinbiotherapeutics. Let me explain.

Optibiotix - I think it has made a big accounting boo boo

I am a massive shareholder in Optibiotix I(OPTI) and believe that I will do very well from my investment, where my average in price is c9p. The shares are now 61.5p mid and I think thery will easily double from here within 18 months if not far sooner. But there can be no double standards here in the way that I cover companies, just becuase I own shares in them. I think the company has made a material accounting error which is also an own goal! Here’s why:

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Steve O'Hara of Optibiotix blames interviews with me for share price weakness

Yup, if he does an interview with me and my tough questions, shares in Optibiotix (OPTI) go down.  So, going forward, it is only those paid-for interviews with folks like Proactive. “Steve, is your schlonger enormous or gigantic? Why are your shares so cheap? etc etc.” Whatever, I apologise to you all for asking the odd question. Without my malign influence, Optibiotix would clearly be in the FTSE 100. Finally is Steve O’Hara a liar like Lyin’ James Draper of Bidstack (BIDS). Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Do not celebrate my Optibiotix humiliation too much & the murky uber ramp at AAA

I start with a note on Bidstack (BIDS), which I shall be taking up with AIM Regulation over the weekend and end with Future (FUTR) which needs to issue a profits warning. In the middle I go therough the very murky tale at AIM listed All Active Asset (AAA) which sees uber ramper Chris Akers in action and Peterhouse Corporate Finance boss Peter Greensmith make a £768,000 killing in his private vehicles while acting as broker and pulling the strings at AAA and also acting as broker to suspended AIM stock Asimilar which is involved in this strange tangle. Then it is onto Optibiotix (OPTI) and a small placing. But this is not a bailout as Cynical will no doubt claim but, possibly a gateway, to a mega re-rate as I explain.

Optibiotix - new distribution deal & share price comment, Strong Buy

The prices of all AIM stocks are now essentially a binary bet. They are either 100% overvalued as they will go bust or, having collapsed, are fundamentally incredibly cheap as they are not going bust whatever the share price says. Optibiotix (OPTI) is very much in the latter category. I accept folks are panicking generally or they are facing margin calls elsewhere and have to sell shares to meet them. That however is not what will drive the share price in the long run…

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: my distraction from the stockmarket crash is working out my odds of dying from coronavirus

It is a happy game which I have discussed with a couple of listeners. Anyhow, it just shows how data can be interpreted in so many ways. I am, you may be pleased, or maybe distressed, to hear taking steps tpo improve my chances. I then discuss the market crash and how it affects different classes of shares – the issue for us all is not whether our investments are cheap but will the equity in them survive? If the answer is YES then I suspect they are now cheap. If NO well then they are still expensive. I discuss Optibiotix (OPTI), Bidstack (BIDS), Versarien (VRS), Big Sofa (BST), Big Dish (DISH), Restaurant Group (RTN), Ascent Resources (AST), City Centre Pubs (CTC) and also why gold and gold shares are not soaring. Optibiotix – not my preferred measure of disclosure

OptiBiotix Health – further SkinBioTherapeutics shares sale reviewed

It has been announced OptiBiotix Health (OPTI) has sold 2.2 million further shares in 2017 spun-off onto AIM SkinBioTherapeutics (SBTX). This despite OptiBiotix’s results earlier this year including “SkinBiotherapeutics plc is making solid progress… As its partnership discussions turn into commercial agreements providing industry validation of its technology we anticipate SkinBiotherapeutics plc will grow in value, whereupon OptiBiotix shareholders will benefit from the appreciation of this asset”. So why the further sale?

It will be good to catch up. See you later! Optibiotix – the interims do not impress but the shares really are a strong buy

Shares in Optibiotix (OPTI) have fallen by more than a quarter on the back on results for the six months to May 31 which are, let us not kid ourselves, really not very impressive indeed. The bears are cock-a-hoop but now talking errant nonsense. We bulls look a bit daft. As a shareholder I feel a bit sore but, having chatted to CEO Steve O’Hara at length, I retain a stance of strong buy. I see one director, Fred Narbel, has bought 17,000 shares at 50p and I expect more, larger scale, boardroom buying to follow. And this is why…

Optibiotix new distribution deal fails to impress...BUT...

Optibiotix (OPTI) shares now trade at 72p to buy after the announcement of a new deal with a company called BioEnergiser Ltd for the online distribution of SlimBiome Medical in the UK. SlimBiome Medical is a CE-marked medical device which independent clinical studies show reduces hunger, cravings for sweet and savoury foods, and fat intake. Optibiotix – on a Swiss roll now, remains a strong buy

Another day, another deal. Is this No. 30 or 31, I rather lose count. Podcast: Steve O' Hara of Optibiotix bullish on revenues, talks Germany, India and more

It is a Proactive interview so the questions are not exactly taxing. But the ansswers given by Steve O'Hara of Optibiotix (OPTI) are illuminating. "The majority" of partners are now generating revenues. This company has signed almost 30 deals. That tells me that the massive ramp up in sales in H2 of last year will continue and indeed accelerate in H1 this year and beyond so full steam ahead. I reckon the shares are a buy at the current 84p and at up to 90p and see the shares motoring ahead to 125p+ in short order. Note what O'Hara says about the pipeline of announcements.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - Laurence Smith threatens me and makes me want to quit, Premaitha - well that's a shock!

I have had one of those days which happen all too often when I think I want to retire. Blame Laurence Smith. All is explained in this podcast. I look at today's news from Premaitha (NIPT) which is certainly a bolt from the blue, comment on the nature of corporate lying, ref Frontera (FRR), cover RM2 (RM2), Optibiotix (OPTI), Sosandar (SOS) and Online Blockchain (DOG).

Video: Steve O'Hara of Optibiotix - am I selling or buying?

Having top sliced our holdings in Optibiotix (OPTI) a few weeks ago I see the shares are back at 94p today despite it having served up cracking news last week. I am asked if I am panicked? Not at all. I fully expect the shares to bounce sharply on more good news. Are we buying more? No I stated clearly, I wanted to build up our cash reserves as I am worried about the market. That has not changed.  Yesterday CEO Steve O'Hara did an interview with Proactive and if you are worried watch it, below, and you should be greatly reassured.

Optibiotix – it junks the Adam Reynolds keyboard for big news

I do not apologise for a second for advising folks to top slice Optibiotix (OPTI) at 131p but today the company has served up news which shows why it was right to hang onto at least part of your holding ( and we have held onto 6/7 of ours). Today’s release is big and does not use the Adam Reynolds keyboard – there are real numbers and big numbers.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Barclays Banksters are wankers - piano wire is what they deserve

I start with a rant about Barclays (BARC) banksters and how much I despise and loathe them. I then discuss Anglo African Agriculture (AAAP) a Big Dave Lenigas lobster pot from which I escaped today. I move onto Andalas (ADL) and have a challenge for a sad geek with time on his hands, I nominate Drunken Sailor. I look at Xaar (XAR), Crawshaw (CRAW) and finally at Optibiotix (OPTI). I owe cynical bear a glass of ouzo but drank it myself on his behalf. Warning, this podcast contains bad language throughout.

Video: Optibiotix commercial director Per Rehne talks about ramp up in sales

What looks like wallpaper in Mr Rehne's spare room really is ghastly and I am not sure what a director of Optibiotix (OPTI) is doing recording a webcast with investment hookers Proactive, a week or so before results day, but whatever, what do I know. Per seems in upbeat mood. For the record, having followed our own advice and top slice ( selling c 1/6) of our holding at 125p, we are not selling any more at the current 108p-111p.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast, Jim Mellon, SalvaRx and the lessons from the todger spray episode

In today's delayed podcast I look at the lessons for SalvaRx (SALV) from the Plethora (PLE) & Regent Pacific episode and ask what is happening at Regent as its shares continue to slide? I also look at the increasingly confused picture at Online Blockchain (OBC) and then ponder why CEO's should not be a guide to share prices or when to sell, ref Optibiotx (OPTI), noting also today's events at Skinbiotherapeutics (SBTX)

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - I doff my cap to Jim Mellon but caveat emptor

In today's bearcast my mind is a bit elsewhere as I explain HERE. But I cover SalvaRX (SALV), Optibiotix (OPTI), the fraud MySquar (MYSQ) and Falanx (FLX). PS For the avoidance of doubt, re Optibiotix, Mr Lemming Investor is not a Bulletin Board Moron, he is way above that - admittedly low - level of the human race. Photo Article: Cynical Bear does the decent thing on Optibiotix

For eons Cynical Bear has made one of his seven things that will never happen series, that Optibiotix (OPTI) shares would not reach 100p. As you may have twigged, they have reached and now breached, closing last night at 124p. And with a very pregnant deal pipeline so a stack of RNS's on the way, we who ignored the old Bear are feeling happy. I teased him that by way of apology he should send a bottle of ouzo to Sheriff of AIM Towers. He is a good man old Cynical Bear. Late last night, guess what arrived...

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: My biggest investment mistakes (and there have been a few) and the BMR Mega scandal for WH Ireland and AIM

I start this podcast by reflecting on my biggest investment mistakes of which selling some Optibiotix (OPTI) three years ago must be in the top ten. Stagging Argo Blockchain (ARB) hjas so far been a small mistake but I reflect on that too. Then I reflect on the bombshell by Nigel Somerville on BMR Group (BMR) which shows AIM Regulation not fit for purpose and opens up a mega scandal for WH Ireland (WHI). What happens next i ask, referring to good news on the claims against Cantor Fitzgerald re African Potash (AFPO)

Midas can you please advise your poor readers to sell Optibiotix every day?

Amazed to find that one of her share tips had actually gone up, Jo Hart of the Midas column In the mail on Sunday  advised the poor saps who follow her to top slice or sell Optibiotix (OPTI) on Sunday. Just as a buy note from Ms Hart is seen by most folks as a sure sign that a PR puff campaign is underway and that you should sell at once, the Midas sell stance seems to have pushed the shares ever higher as the chart below demonstrates. Yes £1 hit again, another case of ouzo Cynical Bear needs to send me. I discussed why I’d not be selling at this price as I expect fireworks soon HERE. Meanwhile…

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: David Lenigas needs to sort out his story on twitter - was he a UKOG placing insider or not?

First of all thanks for all the kind comments on the Woodlarks walk. The final photos and my final thoughts are HERE. It is not too late to donate HERE and that is what David Lenigas should do now as he gets his twitter knickers in a twist over his pre-placing tweets on UK Oil & Gas (UKOG). He now says on twitter he was an insider -in the US that would be a perp walk admission. The shameless old ramper is now batting for Angus Energy (ANGS). Elsewhere I cover Optibiotix (OPTI) and the odd Midas call, Wolf Minerals (WLFE), N4 Pharma (N4P), Arden Partners (ARDN) and Goldplat (GDP). Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: C'mon Dave Lenigas tell your UKOG twitter trolls that attacking a charity for the disabled is disgusting

As of last night a group of UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) twitter trolls have moved from attacking me over THIS ARTICLE to having a pop at Woodlarks over the walk on Saturday. Big Dave Lenigas is copied in on these tweets. I urge him to state clearly that attacking charities for the disabled is obscene and to make a donation HERE - as should any bearcast listener who has not done so already!  I have recorded a special Woodlarks podcast today which you can listen to HERE. More Adam Reynolds humble pie for Cynical Bear as Optibiotix hits 100p & more to come – where’s my ouzo?

Video: Optibiotix chairman Neil Davidson - I've bought £250,000 of shares ..so far!

Okay the video is from blowjob TV that is to say Proactive from yesterday and thus the interviewer makes Zak Mir look like Jeremy Paxman. But, remembering that chairman Davidson has a reputation to lose, take note of what he implies about buying even more shares and also about deals not yet announced. His quiet confidence is clear and that is why even at 86p-88p you would be certifiable if you sold any shares. We certainly will not be at anywhere near this level.

Video: Steve O'Hara of Optibiotix presents and quizzed at UK Investor City Event Monday

Neither myself or the audience gave Steve O'Hara of Optibiotix (OPTI) an easy ride at Monday's UK Investor event in the City. But he presented well and I note that the chairman has today announced the purchase of £150,000 of shares at 71p. Watch Steve closely and you will see why the chairman is buying and why the shares - which are our largest holding but one we have added to in the past couple of months - are so cheap.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - patriotism is the last refuge of the scoundrel (including Daily Mail journalists)

I cover Optibiotix (OPTI) en passant and am glad that thanks to the incredible generosity of Nick Leslau, myself and Brokerman Dan have now raised £13,000 - 65% of our target - for Woodlarks ahead of the 28 July charity walk. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: what is loathsome ex Tory MP Tony "Fatso" Baldry of 3DM infamy really saying

In this podcast I reflect on how the UK is going to the dogs commenting on South West trains and the award of the Orwell prize to a proven specialist in fake news. George will be laughing in his grave. I cover boardroom shenanigans at Telit (TCM), shameless ramping at Andalas (ADL) which is really worth 0p, Frontera (FRR), D day looms, Westminster Group (WSG) and the ambiguity of loathsome ex Tory MP Tony "Fatso" Baldry of 3DM infamy, Rossylyn Data (RDT), Dillstone (DSG), Cluff Natural Resources (CNR) and its pomopus arse of a founder and Optibiotix (OPTI). now I see that evil PR spinner and crony capitalist Reg Hoare has donated to Woodlarks in support of the my sponsored walk with Brokerman Dan. we are now just £31 short of £9,000 and 45% of our target - go on, do the decent thing and chip in HERE

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - picking up Andrew Monk on a couple of things

Forgive the late bearcast. Blame it on Greek Hovel business. In today's podcast I look at Folli Follie, shares in which are slumping again as I warned you the other day HERE - tomorrow might be D (for Death) Day. I then take up Andrew Monk on AIQ (AIQ), Petra Diamonds (PDL) and the idea of consolidating brokers and Nomads via M&A. It makes no sense Andrew. Then I look at the GoTech (GOT) shambles - its now a dope play but frankly you must be a dope to own this stock. Then I cover Optibiotix (OPTI) again with a point folks like Cynical Bear have missed. Finally its i3 Energy (I3E). Thanks to those who have sponsored me as I suffer the dual agonies of walking 30 miles and having to listen to Brokerman Dan drone on all day, but 99% of bearcast listeners have not yet donated a tenner. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - The Fat Lady arrives at Nighthawk and Dave Whitby's payoff question

In the main bearcast of the day I start by asking what payoff disgraced Dave Whitby got at worthless insolvent POS Andalas (ADL)? And were mugs who backed the latest placing told where much of their cash was going ( i.e. to Whitby). Feel free to contact me if you are an Andalas owning mug. The fat Lady arrives at Nighthawk (HAWK) and looks to be in the wings at Nature Group (NGR) while new problems emerge at Imaginatik (IMTK) - a former Rob Terry fave but I speculate on bigger worries that the Quindell fraudster faces - and at Management Consulting (MMC). I think the fat Lady may well also have an appointment with Widecells Group ( WDC) shortly. I comment on 4 reasons why Advanced Oncotherapy (AVO) shares may be falling and on looming results at Optibiotix (OPTI), where we own shares.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: crack out the ouzo for Telit & Eqtec debaggings and the Optibiotix (good) news

What a great day. Telit (TCM) is under investigation by the FCA and Eqtec (ETQ) has really screwed up although why can't its PRs tell the truth for once and admit that its change of strategy was because I caught them all with their pants down and exposed them? This scandal begs real questions of Nomad Northland - hey chaps have you handed back the £75,000 yet? I also look at Optibiotix (OPTI) where last week's share purchase looks all the more prescient after news today.  I look at Mosman Oil & Gas (MSMN) which is a dog whatever Zac Phillips is paid to say.  I comment on Quartix (QTX) - insider dealing or bad luck?  I comment on cash strapped SalVarx (SALV) - time for Jim Mellon to get his wallet out again methinks. And I look at Quadrise (QFI) where a placing looks inevitable after today's debacle.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - Will Jim Mellon's PR man say sorry for chewing my ear off over the Condor spoof - vindicated today

On 6th December I said that a token share purchase by Jim Mellon of shares on Condor Gold (CNR) was a spoof as it was so small for Jim. Moreover Condor was running out of cash and would do a placing within months. Mellon's PR man chewed my ear off. Well hey ho today there was a placing.  A pattern of such spoofs and a subsequent placing has continued. Will I get an apology?  I also look at lessons from Flybe (FLYB) and the non bid, at Fevertree (FEVR) director share sales, at UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) which is also spoofing, 13 Energy (13E) - "you say it best when you say nothing at all " - R Keating.  Then I look at uber dog Golden Saint Resources (GSR) which is leaving AIM and says it wants to go to the Standard List. Lucky Standard List. I also mention our share purchase of more Optibiotix (OPTI). If you like bearcasts then remember that at UK Investor on April 21 one of many highlights will be a live bearcast with myself and Paul Scott. Video: Optibiotix boss O'Hara on Blow Job TV - a BUY despite the Proactive jerk off

You know that I view soft soap paid for interviews with folks like Proactive in a deeply negative way. But Steve O' Hara of Optibiotix (OPTI) comes, I believe, across well and explains the import of recent announcements. In this interview O Hara gives the sort of hard numbers I have used in my writings on this stock. Paul Scott shows an extremer double standard in describing this as "nudge, nudge wink, wink" - I just called it talking to a company which is what anyone sensible would do. I explain why Scott is talking cock and applying double standards HERE. As for Optibiotix, do your maths listen to the whbole interview ( the last 30 seconds are very interesting), the shares are incredibly cheap at 62p offer and will go to well over 100p this year if half of what O'Hara says in this interview comes good. BUY.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - an angry shareholder on the BMR Scandal and a share sale validating The Big Short

I am very excited by working through the most wonkish of data sets to show Channel 4 was serving up A grade fake news as it reported on the drought in SA last night. More on that HERE. I start with the BMR (BMR) scandal where i am an angry small shareholder. The problem is that this is not an isolated incident, I look at Telit (TCM), MySquar (MYSQ) and Sefton (SER) where crime really did pay.  Then I look at an Optibiotix (OPTI) share sale and indicate at what point i will, again, be buying. I look at a share sale in BCA Marketplace (BCA) and why that is such a massive red flag compounding the thesis explained in my major report of last Autumn, The Big Short.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Reach4Entertainment shares are a buy but I do not believe a word of today's trading statement & its PR men should be shot at dawn

I start with why this bearcast is late. I got back very late from London where I was watching my daughter play Harold Wilson in Made in Dagenham and she was brilliant. So too was the musical. Well done Olaf although you are wrong about the gender pay gap! I look at the market bounce and the shit that is leading it. I look in  real detail at the trading statement at Reach4Entertainment (R4E) where I am a shareholder, at Woodford dog RM2 (RM2) which is going on a one way trip to the vets in a fortnight and also at Woodford Patient Capital Trust (WPCT). Post bearcast it announced its NAV at 85.93p which means gearing must surely be through the 20% barrier. I also look at Optibiotix (OPTI) and the warrant exercise issue.

This may be cocksucker TV but Steve O'Hara of Optibiotix explains the bull case in full

Okay this is a Proactive interview where the sycophantic cocksuckers ask only soft questions. But the statements Steve O'Hara of Optibiotix (OPTI) makes on the value of deals signed ( 4 minutes in) and the pipeline explain why I am so bullish. And perhaps why the chairman has just bought £100,000 worth of shares, something announced this afternoon.  At 63p offer the shares are a storming buy ahead of a stream  of big contract wins which will, finally, push the stock to 100p and beyond, IMHO.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Of course you know best Neil (another bad day for Woodford), UKOG to sub 1p and Adam Reynolds NOT fired

I hope you enjoyed the two share tips earlier and thanks for the kind words from many of you abour our place in Greece. I start with a look at Strat Aero (AERO). I covered the dire maths earlier here but it is the sheer dishonesty of the placing that really annoys me. Then I look at more bad news for Nomates Woodford from Provident Financial (PFG) which cvould well up a zero. Then I cover UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) as its shares slide again and Arian Silver (AGQ) which is worthless. Adam Reynolds was not - as gleeful in house BB loon Wildes suggests - fired by Optibiotix (OPTI) - I explain why I remain uber bullish there. Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - Fund managers are not superhuman but dead cats can bounce

In today's bearcast recorded with my father as the audience, here in Shipston, I start with the Autumn Statement which gets 0/10 from  me. Then it is onto Sound Energy (SOU) and the issue of fund manager due diligence. Then Optibiotix (OPTI), FastJet (FJET), Mkango (MKA), African Potash (AFPO), Countrywide (CWD) and the global real estate asset class - yes a Manhattan penthouse and a terraced home in a grim Northern welfare safari slum are related!. Finally a few words about Paternoster Resources (PRS) and as a related issue New World Oil & Gas (NEW).

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: My father shouts out from Pedants corner

My father wants it known that my podcast joke about 14th century pews shows how ignorant his son is as pews only arrived in churches in the nineteenth century. Moving on...I look at how events at Taihua (TAIH) and African Potash (AFPO) show what a joke regulation on AIM has become. I comment on Blenheim Natural Resources (BNR), Strat Aero (AERO), Avanti Capital (AVA) and its chairman Phil "InterX" Crawford and his other charge Lombard Risk (LRM). I look at Coral Products (CRU) where you need to dig beneath headline numbers and then I comment on Optibiotix (OPTI)

OptiBiotix - am I worried? Au contraire

I have received a number of emails and texts asking if I am worried that shares in Optibiotix (OPTI) are 67-69p having fallen back of late. No I am not but to stem the flow of questions...

Optibiotix at 79p worth (at least) 106p - Hybridan

As house broker to Optibiotix (OPTI), Hybridan is paid to be a fan and on that basis you should really take its bullishness for granted. But a note published a few days ago, before today's cracking news, explains the bull case and since we own shed loads of these shares why not give this most excellent report a wider airing. If the target was 106p pre today's good news surely it would be higher now as analyst Derren Nathan ( not a total poltroon) could cut the risk weighting on one product?

Has Slimfast dumped Optibiotix? NO! Company comment

Following Sunday's exclusive news here about an Optibiotix product to help us lose weight being trialled out on Amazon I am asked if that means that the deal with Slimfast, the multi billion dollar slimming drinks company is off? No. It is not. I emailed CEO Steve O'Hara who said:

Certain folks have noticed that a product range called Slimbione has gone on sale and asked if it is anything to do with Optibiotix (OPTI). Here is what CEO Steve O'Hara told us exclusively:

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast 9 May - Iofina, No, no, no, Mr Market all wrong

I end with a summary of the wildlife diversity encountered today at the Greek hovel as I start pruning the olive trees. I start with Iofina (IOF) where the numbers are ghastly, this is a ramp built on sand. I also cover China Africa (CAF), Opera (OPRA), Bango (BGO) and Optibiotix (OPTI). But my mind is really on the manual labour that lies ahead here in the mountains of Greece

Video: Steve O'Hara of Optibiotix presents at UK Investor Show

We bought this stock and tipped it at 8p. The shares are now c80p and we still hold more than half our holding and won't be selling them for anything less than 100p. we are bullish and after this presentation by Optibiotix (OPTI) boss Steve O'Hara I hope you can see why. Enjoy.

Galvan loves Optibiotix too

We own the shares so we are totally biased and a reader who owns the shares is also biased too but asked us to get our mitts on a recent report from Galvan on Optibiotix (OPTI) and publish it. So here you are.

Optibiotix - Hybridan increases its target price to 106p

Hybridan is house broker to Optibiotix (OPTI) and so although I agree with its conclusion this note is clearly biased and feel free to ignore it completely. As for Hybridan, like most brokers. its employees should be strung up with piano wire. But for what it is worth.

Optibiotix at 71p worth 97.4p, new Hybridan note: The short & Fatty One

We own stacks of shares in Optibiotix (OPTI) so naturally we agree with Hybridan analyst Derren Nathan that the shares are cheap at 71p. Mr Nathan published a new note late  last week so you can make up your own mind. We expect big news soon and sure are not selling our shares.

Hybridan - private email to key clients on Optibiotix

Broker Hybridan has not (yet) published research on Optibiotix (OPTI) following last week's City presentation. But it has sent a private email to certain clients and, put it this way, we are not going to be selling on the basis of what follows. It strikes me that we may see some very big news soon. Hybridan director of Corporate Broking William Lynne states his key takeaways:

Tom Winnifrith's share tips of the year Number 4 - Sell Fast Forward Innovations at 17p

A reader posted on our comments section: "Ive also just bought into FFWD. Tom why can't you tip this for 2016 instead of repeat tips on OPTI and NIPT?" Hmmm well I am sure that Optiobiotix shares will race ahead ( 100p + within weeks after the next deal is announced) and that Premaitha will announce new contracts and that it is passed the inflexion point of cash breakeven soon and that its shares will head to 30p+. That is why I tip them as buys. You want me to tip shares that will go up ,right? But your wish is my command and so I will also tip FastForward Innovations. But as a sell at 17p.

Optibiotix - Hybridan ups target from 49p to 95.4p - feel free to ignore

We own these shares so feel free to ignore what we say. But for the avoidance of doubt our next top slice order is with our broker at more than 95.4p. In fact it is at more than 100p. Hybridan is house broker to Optibiotix (OPTI) so its research cannot be regarded as impartial either. It is paid by Optibiotix. But it has just published a note with a big upgrade so here you are.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast 12 December - live from Athens Airport

I start with a hint to the oppo, that is InternetQ (INTQ), fire the lazy upper class fuckwits at FTI Consulting who you employ to do PR, they are useless as I explain in this podcast. It is then onto Condor Gold (CNR), Optibiotix (OPTI), Wildes and his trading strategy in LGO Energy (LGO) and elsewhere - the road to ruin. And finally where is Malcolm Stacey's Santa rally? It seems to be er..late.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast 20 November - We need more coverage of David Lenigas

In today's podcast I deal with reader complaints that we have not given enough coverage to the various business interests of fat Aussie share ramper Jabba The Hutt. And so I cover Lenigas Cuba (CUBA), Big Jabba's preposterous claims about liquidity on ISDX and Solo Oil (SOLO) - placing ahoy! I also look at Mosman Oil & Gas (MSMN) -  more shite from poltroons from the land where most folk are descended from convicts - Flying Brands (FBDU), 88 Energy (88), Kea Petroleum (TOAST), JQW (FRAUD), Northern Petroleum (NOP), Optibiotix (OPTI) and African Potash (AFPO). I also deal with some wanker on twitter who thinks I am a sexist and wants to have a fight with me and ask more questions about market abuser Chris Oil AIM IPO car crash waiting to happen, Mkango Resources

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast 19 November - Leed Resources, Solo Oil and other crap on AIM

In this podcast I once again tantalise Lord David Bick - PR bully boy to Del Boy Lenigas - a new discussion is at the end. I start with Rare Earth Minerals (REM) - following up from here - then move onto Leed Resources (LDP), New World (NEW), Poundland (PLND), Optibiotix (OPTI), Bovis Homes (BVS), Johsnton Press (JPR) and fianlly to Solo Oil (SOLO), a company associated with Jabba the Hutt.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast 12 November: Hero (Optibiotix) & a stack of zeros

In this podcast i start with two shares on the up: Optibiotix (OPTI) and Volex (VLX). One's a dog and it is not Optibiotix. There is a word on Finnaust (FAM) a caveat on yesterday's bearcast. Then onto Ascent Resources (AST) - that may surprise you - Oilex (OEX), Rolls Royce (RR), Ubisense (UBI), Communisis (CMS), Spire Health (SPI) and Atlas Developments (ADSS) where flip flop is talking more nonsense.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast 6 November - bracing myself for lunch with Paul Scott

Listeners have pity on me. Lunch with the UK's top share blogger beckons. That means the regime which leaves Paul looking so trim and svelt - ie lots of alcohol - plus long lectures on margins in online retailing. If that does not turn a sober fellow like me into a drunken share blogger nothing will. Away from that I explain why I am not really a snob and then make a snobbish comment or two, then discuss CIC Gold (CICG), ECR Minerals (ECR), Falanx (FLX) and Optibiotix (OPTI) and the curse of the Sith Lord Zak Mir and Plethora (PLE) and its premature ejaculation drug. I dont understand what it is all about but invite readers to share their personal experiences so that we can get a grip on what's going on here.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast 4 November: Inspirit Confetti for the fire tomorrow?

On today's podcast I start with a couple of risers: Berkeley Energy (BKY) - where's my apology Brokerman Dan? And Optibiotix (OPTI) - you know I am not totally useless at long tips. Then onto the losers: Galasys (GLS), TyraTech (TYR), Northern Petroleum (NOP). Then it is Golden Saint Resources (GSR) where I also try to help out hapless compliance officer the Northern Slum refugee Richard "Gollum" Gill by explaining the rules about a financial promotion.  I missed out FastJet (FJET) - down on weak passenger data, can anyone remember anyone involved in its IPO who might be a red flag? Then I turn my attention to David Lenigas, the boiler room and Inspirit (INSP).

Buy Premaitha Health at a 20p offer,
says Tom Winnifrith

This was not going to be my tip in the recently published book "The Magnificent 7" which you can download for free HERE. I was set to tip Optibiotix (OPTI) at c40p. Unfortunately for you (but fortunately for me since we own shares in the company) the share price has raced ahead to a 48p offer. I still think that they could head much higher and Zak Mir reckons that Optibiotix shares will be 60p by October. I think, that is what a chartist terms a long term view.

I take a rather longer, long term view than my illiterate Old Harrovian pal Zak and note that at least one broker (Hybridan) reckons that Optibiotix shares could trade at 200p by 2017 IF it delivers on all that it has promised. But I accept that there are a lot of IFs in that analysis and anyway you don’t want a stock that has already raced ahead since August.

And so that brings me to a sister company, Premaitha (NIPT)

Optibiotix – a year of tremendous progress

I’m biased as RMPC owns stacks of these shares. So please take that caveat on board but here is a pretty comprehensive note on Optibiotix (OPTI) from Investor’s Champion which – I think – explains why you should be so excited about this stock.
