Tom Winnifrith podcast: the US Election, extraordinary polls, the mendacious UK media and abortion

The British media are lying to you about what matters to US voters and what is happening. The polls are now extraordinary.

As daughter Olaf sits her final Oxford exam, I remember her premature birth as Carla Foster sent to jail for murdering her baby

Back in 1967 when abortion was legalized in the UK thanks to Lord David Steel, the paedophile protecter, we were told that it would be a rare and unusual medical procedure. In the first full year of legal abortions, 1969, 54,819 lives were ended.  By 2021 that number had soared to 214,256. So that means that thanks to Lord Steel just over 10 million unborn babies have now been aborted in the UK and this year 1 in 4 conceptions will end in abortion.  These are appalling figures but some think that the numbers are not high enough. I write this today, thinking about my daughter Olaf, born at just 26 weeks almost 22 years ago weighing 1 lb 4 oz.

The Britain Bashing Guardian celebrates what we are good at: Loving abortion, supporting Prostitution, Divorce and casual sex

Normally the Guardian does it utmost to talk down Britain. Especially after Brexit, we are just shit at everything. But today it celebrates the fact that we are in the top 4 globally for our supportive attitudes to: abortion, divorce, casual sex, prostitution, LGBT rights and “assisted dying.” We are not quite up their with Canada in terms of killing off the disabled or those who can;‘t hold down a job but we are top 4.

The liberal media runs scared of the mid-terms Red Wave – denial on BBC Woman’s Hour

The liberal media is now waking up to the idea that, tomorrow, American voters will use the mid-terms to blow an enormous raspberry to their man creepy Joe Biden and to the whole ultra woke agenda of their beloved Democrats.  Well, that is to say they know that the GOP will hand out an enormous whipping but they cannot admit why.

BBC – more fake news: the Georgia Senate Race, the liberal media reacts to impending mid-term red wave

About a week ago, BBC Radio 4 turned its attention to the Georgia Senate race. This is one of the battleground Senate contests, Democrat incumbent Raphael Warnock facing a challenge from ex American football star Herschel Walker for the Republicans. The mid terms are going to be bleak for the Dems and the BBC is wetting its knickers, running frit.

The US Abortion clock: shameful dishonesty from “pro choice” baby murderers

The 1973 “Roe vs Wade” ruling has been overturned which, according to the liberal media and “progressives” elsewhere, is tantamount to a ban on abortion. Of course, it is not. In honour of almost 64 million lives ended by abortion since Roe vs Wade, here are the awful facts.

Tom Winnnifrith podcast: The death of Roe vs Wade, an attack on abortion in America, or maybe not?

The liberal media are telling you that thanks to evil Presdent Trump loading the Supreme Court, Roe vs Wade may be overturned so meaning the end of 49 years of legal abortion in America. As ever that is just not is what is happening and at every level the Guardian/BBC/ Kirstie Allsop – with whom I was arguing about this on twitter – narrrative is just wrong. I try to explain why and – only because I am a man – have to start with my own personal involvment with abortion in order to justify what follows.

"My Body My Choice" - Hooters in Liverpool and abortion

The slogan is one used by those who want a woman’s right to murder an unborn baby protected at all costs. It is her body she can do whatever she wants with it and with what is inside it.  I do not agree with this for reasons I have articulated many times but I accept that it is a line of argument some use. However, there is an application to open a Hooters Bar in Liverpool just up the road from me. The picture below is of a number of young ladies dressed in the er…corporate uniform.

UPDATED: IVF bad, Abortions Good – The illogical moral vacuum of the Scottish Government policy on vaccines, at least Germany has a GSOH

Of course, covid vaccines and boosters are voluntary say our leaders, it is just that we will try to “persuade” and “cajole” you all into having them. First we will start with the grown-ups and then, in Scotland at least, we will be coming for your five year olds.  And of course vaccines work don’t they? Sorry did someone mention Israel?

The vile standards of the liberal left on abortion: New Zealand vs Texas

New Zealand premier Jacinda Ardern is a woman who, in the eyes of the liberal left who dominate the media and political classes, can do wrong. God fearing Texas Republicans are in the eyes of the same people an abomination who, in recent weeks have been branded and compared, unfavourably, with both the Nazis and the Taliban. Check twitter, yes #TexasTaliban really has been trending for well over a week. The issue driving this is abortion.

A trans woman in LA explains why tighter abortion rules in Texas hit her

Of course they don’t. Madeline can’t have babies and lives 1500 miles from Texas. So she is affected in the same way that, living in Wales, I am hit by changes in the school hours in Latvia. That is to say not at all. But when you are a professional victim, near the top of the pyramid of victimhood, in 2021 who cares?

The vile Daily Telegraph reckons Eugenics fine - a baby with Down's has less rights to life than you or I

My late Uncle Christopher Booker wrote for the Sunday Telegraph for almost half of his life and almost to the bitter end. But in his last years, he and my aunt V cancelled their subscription to the Daily Torygraph because it had become such a lightweight rag. If I read it, which I do not for many of the same reasons as Chris, I would be cancelling my sub today in protest at this vile headline about new laws in Poland restricting the right of folks to murder unborn babies.

An essay question for first year "progressive" snowflake students from an unfashionable old man

Dear snowflakes, liberal progressives who know so much more about eternal truths than an old man like myself, I have an essay for you to consider. I know that you probably think that essays are old fashioned and multiple choice questions as part of ongoing course work is the future of academia but, humour me, and have a brief stab at this one. The essay title is:

Free Speech is fine as long as you are left wing

The survey below is from the USA but the same applies here. Most folks feel that they can say what they want as long, as they are on the centre left. If you express views on the desirability of patriotism or of a smaller Government; on women not having penises or that abortion at 34 weeks is murder; on the desirability of criminals having long sentences in miserable prisons or that the NHS doesn’t work properly; that Christmas is what we celebrate on December 25 and it has everything to do with Jesus or that no statues should be ripped down, you may have a problem. Being a communist is viewed as trendy.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: is it okay to lie these days? Pocohontas, Iconic & UK Oil & Gas

I start with another moral question from the General Election  as I have already noted HERE  Labour thinks that our record number of abortions ( 206,000 last year) is not high enough, we must murder more babies. I then turn to the issue of lying asking if society now thinks it is just acceptable.  That brings me neatly onto Iconic (ICON) and UK Oil & Gas (UKOG) both of which I discuss in detail.

Abortion up to birth is state sponsored murder: another reason no-one should vote Labour

Yesterday I flagged up one moral reason not to vote Labour (anti semitism) HERE and one economic one, the almost certain probability that its plans would bankrupt the UK, HERE. Maybe the prospect of having to eat your cat does not phase you so how about the idea of state sponsored murder?

Tom Winnifrith Bonus Bearcast: Wrestling with my conscience on Yourgene, Down Syndrome and abortion

We own stacks of shares in Yourgene (YGEN). I am in no doubt that they are very cheap and will head sharply higher and soon. But I am wrestling with my conscience here and in light of it being World Down Syndrome Day yesterday I explain why.  If you enjoyed this, almost, profanity free bearcast, follow a bloke from the Grim North who donated enough to buy a whole house in the welfare safari and support the Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks HERE.

The hypocrites celebrate referenda, the Irish celebrate murder

On Friday, the Irish voted to legalize abortion at up to 12 weeks. It is now Sunday and the BBC - my only English language TV here in Greece - is still covering this story with a manic obsession. "What a modern nation Ireland has become: a gay PM, abortion on demand, the Church in tatters, cue picture of joyous crowds." Okay, it does not mention its joy at the collapse of the Irish church but it makes its views clear with pictures of nuns scuttling away from polling stations looking miserable.

Owen Jones on the violence of abortion - what a truly loathsome man so typical of 2017 Britain

On today's Marr Show on the BBC, the guest lefty was the loadmouth Guardian columnist Owen Jones whose bon mot was on the matter of abortion. His horror was at the "violence" of denying a woman a right to have an abortion. Words almost fail me.

Jacob Rees Mogg views me as a murderer but he is not a deadbeat dad and his abhorrent views disqualify him from nothing

I see that my Oxford Contemporary Jacob Rees Mogg is under intense fire from the liberal left, notably for his views on homosexuality, abortion and because he has never changed a nappie. A woman who once campaigned to lower the age of consent to 14, that is to say the niece of Lord Longford, woman of the people Harriet Harman reckons the nappie offence makes Jacob a deadbeat dad.

Photo Article: The dysfunctional left applauds the Palestinans who execute gays at Gay Pride

It is really simple being a lefty. You have to be dogmatic and have a set world view. Otherwise you may be suspect in your liberalism. As such certain things are beyond doubt. LGBT and abortion issues are important above all else - these are the number 1 concerns of "real people", or at least of real people among the Metropolitan elites, not thick working class people or evil Christians because they don't matter. The USA is wrong on everything and Donald Trump is stupid and satanic. Israel is also wrong on everything. The EU is right on everything, The Daily Mail should be shut down to protect free speech. The Palestinians are always right. The BBC is a vicious right wing tool of the enemy but we'd all love to work there. You get the drift.

A conversation with a 16 year old daughter on her Birthday

16 years ago it was a terrible day. A 26 week pregnant wife - Big Nose, a rushed Ceasarian, a tiny little creature weighing 1 lb 4 oz emerging and being stuck in a fish tank in intensive care at UCH at once. She stayed there for three months. Who would have thought she'd be sixteen today, eating cake in bed and opening presents and phoning her old dad afterwards?

As my daughter turns 16 tomorrow, Britain's greedy & morally bankrupt doctors demand the right to have murdered her

Tomorrow my daughter Olaf turns 16. I still cannot quote believe that "the miracle baby" has reached this landmark. I call her a miracle because she really should not have lived. 16 years ago her mother's preeclampsia got so bad that the doctors told us that Olaf was not growing so we had to extract her or face her certain death. Olaf emerged aged 26 weeks weighing 1lb and 4 oz. It was eight weeks before the doctors talked about when she would come home, not if. Folks around the country prayed for the miracle baby and she made it.

I sense that some of my fellow feminists might struggle with a few of these questions.

Liam Fox reminds me: V for Vendetta – Time for an annual viewing

It is perhaps not the greatest film ever made but for those of us who instinctively mistrust and despise the political class it is worth watching at least once a year and with November 5 approaching now is as good a time as any.

The squalor of the 3p expense claim made by Liam Fox MP (personal wealth estimated at £1 million) just reminded me how much I loathed those who rule us. Fox wants to restrict abortion, he opposes gay marriage, he voted for a smoking ban (and then against), he voted for the illegal war in Iraq, he thinks he has a right to tell us how we should live our lives, what we should do with our own bodies. And then that we should recompense him three frigging pence because he cannot be bothered to walk 100 yards down the road.

Fox is by far and away not the most despicable member of the political class. He is merely one of many despicable members of that class who trough it big time as they make our world ever more authoritarian and unpleasant.

If you have never seen, the speech from V for Vendetta have a butchers and then get the whole movie out on DVD in time for Guy Fawkes night.
